Lord Daval Steelsword is the leader of the Azerothian Armies before Lord Lothar, he is killed in battle by Blackhand and his son Halad takes up his father's sword and shield and gains a victory at Goldshire. He weilded the greatsword Steelsword until his death and his son weilded it after him.

As Regent Lord Edit

Months before the First War, he was regent lord before Lothar, he trained his son with Lothar when they were kids and he is General of Azeroth during the Orc invasion.

He was skilled with a massive two handed blade he learned to wield with just one hand, his bears also a thick iron shield of the Azeroth logo. After he is killed his son though drops his bloodstained blade and shield and with the demoralized warriors he charges against Blackhand at Goldshire. Daval and Lothar were part of the elite knight unit known as the Brotherhood of the Horse.

First War Edit

When the Orc Invasion rampaged at Stormwind the first time from the Dark Portal was disastrous for the Orc Horde, led by Daval Steelsword they slaughtered the Orc forces with ease. They then chased the Orcs off back to the Dark Portal. Though when Daval returned with his army, the celebrated a clean victory. Until Blackhand returned with a more-well-organized Horde.

At the battle at the Swamp of Sorrows, Daval led the strike force to help reinforce their outpost and destroy the Orc outpost Kyross. He raised an army of militia and soldiers and marshaled forward and was able to burn down the walls of Kyross. Daval's horse trampled over all Orcs while his men followed and slaughtered the Orc's with their shield and mettle.

Though when they retreated back to Goldshire they saw a pretty large size army of Orcs led by Blackhand, Daval with his son Halad fought against the Orc armies, though they were outnumbered the human armies fought valiantly and defiant. Though Blackhand and Daval had a titanic duel in the middle of the battle, Daval was left wide open in an attack when Blackhand swung his axe to throw away his shield and sword and hacked him right in the gut.

While his father was killed, Halad ran towards his dieing body and when he became lifeless Halad grabbed his blood spattered shield and sword and marshaled forth with the beleaguered human army, they slaughtered the Orc armies and forced Blackhand to retreat, they stood with Daval's dead body and retreated to the Stormwind Keep where they had a funeral for him fit for a king.

Though while they held the funeral for Daval, Blackhand led the armies again and overran the emptied Goldshire where they burned it and took it for his own uses before leading an assault upon Stormwind once again.
