Wrath of the Lich King Edit

Northrend Edit

After rallying Darion Mograine to fight the Scourge realizing he has been betrayed by Arthas. The Argent Crusade rallied all the available heroes from Azeroth and Outland to journey towards Northrend and began their conquest to end the Lich King's reign and the Scourge.

Deep in the Icecrown Citadel at the top of the Frozen Throne, the Lich King Arthas waited and watched. He saw his armies gather, strengthen and increase. The time of war was coming but when he gave the signal, the war would crush all his enemies. His plan: to gather all the worlds heroes at Northrend and when the armies were at one location, send his unending army of undead to the other continents and crush the armies!

Tirion Fordring of the Argent Crusade led the charge while Garrosh Hellscream led the charge of the Warsong Clan towards Icecrown Clan, after barely succeeding in destroying the Wrath Gate's doors they desperatley fought with every tooth and nail to get to the door of the Icecrown Citadel - home of the Lich King - unknown to them that the true threat is what is landing on the shores of Eastern Kingdoms.

The Siege of the Coast Edit

Arthas' quickly left Northrend when the arrival of the Argent Crusade, venturing deep into the Great Sea by the time the Undead began attacking the forces at Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord. The depleted forces of the Alliance and the Horde were immediately caught off guard when they were ambushed by thousands of Undead monstrosities. The Forsaken one who took heavy losses not just by the Scourge but by Varimathras' betrayal inside the Undercity. The Dead Scar become increasingly active as Scourge poured toward it from their safe haven of the Plaguelands. The Shattered Sun was destroyed completley when the Scourge bombarded the Isle of Quel'Danas to a pulp and use it as one of their outposts. Even Khadgar or the Naaru could have forseen such an assault coming to their forces.

Silvermoon even weakened with the destruction of the Sunwell and betrayal of Kael'thas the forces have retreated into Silvermoon, secured deep within their walls against the ravenous Scourge and their General and former Blood Elf Thes'ael. Undercity is in the grips of a triple-battle between the Scourge, Alliance, and the Horde. Sylvanas has asked for the Hordes helped to retain their capital while the hell-bent King Varian Wrynn wishes to reclaim Lordaeron for the Alliance has a portion of his army to assault the outer regions of the Undercity while the Scourge comes from the coast.

Battle of Undercity Edit

The Scourge besieged the outer gates of Lordaeron to no avail while the Alliance of Stormwind sent their forces towards the secret cavern that leads to the sewers within the Undercity and have barely breached the walls. The ensuing chaos caused Jaina Proudmoore to step in and call a counsil with the two warring factions. Though Thrall agreed to a tenuous peace, King Wrynn still bitter about his friend Bolvar Fordragon's death at the Wrath Gate at the hands of the Forsaken vows to destroy the Horde or let the Scourge swallow them into oblivion.

King Wrynn though granted the Argent Crusade military powers and became a military faction of the Alliance - as did the Horde - and grant them several locations as base of operations to watch where the Scourge moved and where they attacked and though Wrynn was forced into a treaty by Jaina. The Argent Crusade made sure that the war for the Undercity was at a stalemate until the Scourge was defeated which Wrynn grudgingly agreed to. The King granted the ruins of Alterac and after clearing Fenris Keep and Strahnbrad of the bandits also granted them as their own.

Reclaiming lost territory Edit

The Ruins of Alterac were the first to reclaim for the Argent Crusade, led by Muradin Bronzebeard, they were able to rout the Orge, Yeti, and Syndicate infestation all over the ruins claiming it as their base of operations. This was the first time that Alterac has been reoccupied for the sake of the Alliance.

After defending and rebuilding Alterac they set their sights on Strahnbrad which was crawling with low lives of the Syndicates. The battle of Strahnbrad ended very quickly as the Syndicate retreated to the coast of Alterac and were reduced to lowly bandits. Strahnbrad became a village for refugees and families of the Argent Crusade and a milita against the bandits or Orge threat.

Darion Mograine and his Death Knights, some where still uneasy with them even on their side decided to claim a base of their own after Acherus was retaken by the Scourge. Stuck in the middle of the late between Tirisfal Glades and the Ruins of Alterac lied Fenris Keep. After chasing the decaying gnolls from the fortress they reclaimed the chain of isles as their own and were used to watch the war between for the Undercity.

The slow counterattack Edit

After reclaiming some of their former strength, most of the Argent Crusade that wasnt at Northrend attempting to enter Icecrown set their sights at halting to Scourge's assault which now controlled the Plaguelands fully, Ghostlands, north of Tirisfal Glades, west of Silverpine Forest, west of the Hinterlands, and the isle of Quel'Danas. With Silvermoon under siege from the Dead Scar and the Undercity seemingly unpenetrable at the time, the Scourge set their sights on moving through the Wetlands and the Thandol Span to attack the mountain fortress of the Dwarves Ironforge.

The Scourge continued its dominant run until they arrived to Fenris Keep. Fenris Keep was well protected as most of the Undead could not reach the Death Knight stronghold giving the Death Knights the upper hand with their undead gryphon bombardment before they left for Alterac across the lake. At Alterac they bombarded the gates for days until besieging the gates, until the ambush from the local militia and mages of Strahnbrad, even from the ruins of Dalaran the remaining mages returned to help fight the Scourge. Orcs from Hammerfall under the order of the warchief arrived to help the fight, but even with all the allies they couldnt overcome the endless hordes. In a desperate attempt to save the fight the mages reconstructed a temporary shield around Alterac similar to what Antonidas did to Dalaran when Arthas searched for a book of Medivh. The Undead inside the shield died but the rest past Alterac and continued their march, overwhelming Wetlands and the Arathi Highlands which they now occupied Stromgarde and Menethil Harbor.

When they arrived in Dun Morogh they immediatly ruined Kharanos and besieged Ironforge. Unknown really to the Undead was that Ironforge only has one entrance. The Dwarves fought a valiant fight and besieged the forces of the Scourge until forcing to retreat into Ironforge and seal the gates shut initiating a quarantine. This proved valuable as the Undead could not break the gates but continued relentlessly bombarded the gates.

Results Edit

At the current events, all is the same, Ironforge is under siege by the Undead and they continue to hold a large threshold of the northern Eastern Kingdoms, the war of the Undercity's truce seems to be breaking but still lasts while the shield of Alterac is diminished and the Death Knights and Argent Crusade alongside the Horde and Alliance forces halt the Scourges advance support lines.

Forgotten Hero Edit

Deep within the dark valley where Mannoroth was slain. Grom Hellscream survived. Scared and depraved he returned to Orgrimmar to acknowledge that Thrall left him for death while he still had a small flicker of life within him. He challenged Thrall to a duel for the title Warchief and defeated his friend. Instead of exiling Thrall he allowed him to remain by his side as the adviser of the Horde alongside Jaina.
