Before the time of Melean and Morpheus, the night elf Melean was a stalwart warrior and lieutenant of the Sentinel army under his brother Kril'Dor Soaringstar he was well respected as a soldier and led the Sentinels to amazing victorious against the Legion in the start of the war of the ancients.

Beginning of Time

When Melean was first born he was born along with Illidan, Malfurion, and Tyrande they all became great friends but didnt with Melean's brother - Kril'Dor, Kril'Dor always believed that he was the most powerfullest of all that lived. Melean, and Illidan wished to join the army and quickly rose through the ranks but Kril'Dor was quicker and became General. Malfurion studied druidism and Tyrande studied the priestess hood. 
The War of the AncientsEdit
Nothing much happened besides their training progressed until the day that Sargeras and his evil Burning Legion arrived on the world. Melean became a commandore of the army but hadn't heard of Illidan in some time, he wondered where he had been and asked Malfurion where and Malfurion told him that Illidan has wanted power and has joined Queen Azshara's troops.
Leading a front with Malfurion they were pushed quickly by both Azshara's troops and the Burning Legion's aid. Retreating to Cenarius they waited and prepared their defences.
The Eternal SoaringstarsEdit
One of the Demon guards, Kazzx captured Kril'Dor on the front lines and slaughtered his forces, when Malfurion, Tyrande and Melean and a small detachment of sentinels and druids were sent to discover what happened to Kril'Dor and his front lines, they found an entire army of legions of fel hounds and doom guards along with Kazzx (Overlord) had a line of captured night elves near death and Kril'Dor in front of him. A sharp whistle and all the night elves were severed by the Demons, Kril'Dor though is a seperate case.
Kazzx released from the net but had two doom guards whip, hack, slash, and beat to his near death. Shocked, saddened, and feared by the non-merciful these beasts could be as they enjoyed it. With his near death Kazzx picked up Kril'Dor over his head and slowly but painfully tore him in half. Kril'Dor's cries were loud and painful and Melean could do nothing but watch as Malfurion and Tyrande held him to the ground on his knees as he forcifully tried to run towards Kazzx in a blind rage.
When he calmed himself. Melean's rage grew to hate for all demons, his eyes changed in his rage to silver to a bloodlust red, he stood up and took a long loud battle cry, his army stood ready, shocked that they would not be torn Kazzx was still ready. At his rage he re-learned the small powers that Illidan tought him, fire and lightning but in rage they were very powerful, he hurled a bolt of lightning at Kazzx that threw Kazzx into his demon hordes catching him. He continued his charge evading Malfurion and Tyrande's grasps. A few moments later to not leave his general unprotected Malfurion and Tyrande with the troops charged along side him to the battle.
Melean grabbed his brothers claymore known as the Kalim'soaringstars (meaning Eternal Soaringstars or meaning - Eternal Brothers meaning no matter where Melean was as long as he had that sword he would always be with his brother) once in his hand he jumped in the air and with all his might and blessing of Elune he mauled it straight into the heart of Kazzx. Kazzx was not ready for this, as Melean was on the other side of Kazzx as he watched as the demon slowly die and perish.
Melean grabbed his two axes and clashed along with the army against the hordes of demons, they battled for hours against this army, feeling remorsed that his brothers killer was slaughtered and his rage dissipated as his eyes faded back to bright silver.
Old friends returningEdit
A Doom Guard came behind Melean while Melean was fighting off a mighty Infernal, when the infernal died the Doom Guard took one large swipe but before he could complete the attack and cut down Melean, he was killed, Melean turned around and saw two mighty and curved blades in the chest of the Doom Guard. The Doom Guard was killed by none other than Illidan Stormrage... pleased and rejoiced to see Illidan again they couldnt stop to chat as they still had a battle to continue to.
Illidan told Melean that he could never leave an old friend to his death. They slaughtered the remaining demons and the rest retreated to Archimonde at Aszhara's capital. With two grand victories, the death of Kazzx - murderor of Kril'Dor and the defeat of the legion at the borders of Ashenvale forest.
Picking the sword out of Kazzx's chest he would keep the sword for years to come. Melean and his forces with Tyrande, Illidan and Malfurion retreated to Cenarius hold to plan our their next offensive.
Battles for LegendsEdit
Learnign druidism from Cenarius and Malfurion. Archimonde made his final assault on Ashenvale forest with Melean as General. They fought the demons for hours never giving their outpost up, they finally starting losing troops when Doom Guard and Infernal arrived advanced with the army. They still would not give up their outpost, Melean was a smart leader and knew how to command his defences as he did for his brother when Kril'Dor was general.
A large shriek appeared from the horizon...
Realizing that Neltharion wasnt present, Alexstrasza watched with the others as Neltharion had betrayed them and become Deathwing. They tried to stop Deathwing before he could cause harm but he was so powerful now that he had the Dragon Soul (now the Demon Soul)... it was here that Malygos lost his entire blue dragonflight.
Using another selfless act he took a druid's staff and casted a spell to erect a shield around his outpost and troops instead of himself. Rather to save more lives than just one, as he wished to die in battle.
Deathwings fire burned harder at Melean's back, he was about to give up but he thought about the lives of his men and women so he kept on. Deathwing commended him on his bravery but laughed at him being foolish. Melean opened his eyes and let the shield go as they were far enough from the mountain, he then fell to the ground and dropped the staff losing much of his strength. In some what of a trance Ysera brought his brother's spirit back from death to visit Melean one last time.
Melean saw his sword of his brother on the ground, he saw ghostly shoes in front of him, and as he looked up he saw his brother stand before him as a spirit of the Emerald Dream.
Deathwing blew fire at Melean but it did not matter as they charged into the one being know as Melean'Dor charged the sword clashed at Deathwing's neck and made a large cloud of dusk throw out over the world.
When the dust though dissipated they saw that Melean was stabbed and Kril'Dor was thrown back into the spirit world. Deathwing had an injury that he would have for all time, a large portion of the tip of the blade was lodged permantly into Deathwing's neck. Deathwing flew away in agony and pain from the injury.
Ysera and the remaining dragon aspects flew towards Melean as Krasus lept from the forest to lend aid. Krasus and Melean pulled the blade out of his stomach as Alexstrasza healed Melean's wound as Nozdormu told him that his destiny still lies at the end of this war. Ysera gave him new found strength in both physical and druid-like. As he stood up, he and Krasus along with the dragons retreated to Malfurion's base to repair, and stock up for the final battle...
Melean's final battleEdit
The base was lit up in excitement when they saw not just the dragon aspects but the mighty warrior Melean. They took him to relax and repair his armor, shield, and sword. But while he feasted the near exhausted warrior after three days of no sleep and all fight he must discuss plans for the final attack. Along to that to his dismay is that Illidan is no where to be found once again. Melean proposed that he, Jarod, and Krasus (as dragon form) make a diversion while Cenarius, Tyrande and Malfurion attacked Queen Aszhara and her summoners and stop the summoning.
Broxigar walked in and asked that if he would have Krasus fly into the well and stop Sargeras there, he would want to die in honor against a true enemy... the Lord of the Burning Legion.
Malfurion said all must fight its everyones battle but reluctantly agreed as Broxigar is their best soldier he could halt Sargeras. The repair men gave Melean his sword sharper, and newer than ever, along with a staff to engage with druid powers.
They next day the march began...
They marched to Zin-Azshari. Where they formed a small outpost (larger than Melean had) and began to continue the march until greeted by a larger army with Archimonde in the front. He kept saying that their end was near, Mannoroth appeared out of the line and stood next to Archimonde. Malfurion, Tyrande, Jarod, Krassu in dragon form, and Melean charged at them along with their army, the two armies clashed and a bloody battle ensued. Cenarius fought Mannoroth as Melean and Malfurion charged through the demon lines and face Archimonde himself. Melean slashed Archimonde's leg.
Archimonde after suffering his injury picked up Melean with both hands and began to crush him. Malfurion couldnt stand by and watch his old friend having his life crushed out of him by this demon, he began to chanting a ritual where he could save Melean.
Melean stabbed Archimonde's hand by he threw it away near Tyrande where she picked it up and savored it as she watched the attack on Archimonde fail. She didnt want to see someone else die to Archimonde like Malorne did. Cenarius defeated Mannoroth as he fled away into the capital, Cenarius remembered when he was unconsious the battle between his father and Archimonde as he sees Melean die to him as well.
In his last words Melean could only say was "Elune... save..... me!", as if the prayer came true seconds before his actual death - Malfurion casted the spell to take a small portion of Melean's spirit and throw it across the world and across time into the future and find a safe time period and place where he would find a new body. The large remaining portion of Melean's spirit thanked Malfurion in a dream that he could finally see his brother but also thanked him that his legacy could live on in another part of time and the world to spread the history of Melean the Night Elf Warrior. (which he finds Melinda's womb and becomes the half-elf Melean) that was his destiny that Nozdormu said, Melean would live on for years more but as a different person... saving him from the pain of Archimonde's grasp he was saved as he died.
Shocked that he died before he killed him he threw his lifeless body to the wall and onto the ground. The Dragon aspects then arrived and fight the rest of the demons off and push Archimonde and his remaining followers into the capital where Malfurion and the army in honor of Melean made a final charge and attacked the Zin-Aszhari and stopped the ritual thus ending the Burning Legion's crusade and creating the Sundering, but not before Tyrande took Melean's body and retreated back to Ashenvale and Malfurion encountered Illidan.
Illidan was saddened to hear his best friend died but he died in glorious combat as he wanted. Malfurion though angered by his betrayel had Maiev Shadowsong arrest Illidan and keep him chained in the cold earth.. for 10,000 years... before the Third War...
The ShrineEdit
Tyrande and the sentinels built a shrine dedicated to the greatest night elf to ever walk on Kalimdor (along with a smaller statue for the greatest orc (Broxigar) who died protecting Kalimdor against Sargeras) where they imbuned the sword he once wieled and his brother did to with also an inscription.
The Inscription of Melean wrote:
Cenarius, Malfurion, Tyrande, Jarod, Krasus, The dragon aspects, (if Broxigar was alive), they even let Illidan do so pay respects to their beloved, general, soldier and friend. Tyrande buried Melean's body in front of the shrine in honor of him. But when Darnassus was built they moved over seas. They though never forgot Melean, they may not discuss about him but never forget him especially, Illidan, Tyrande, and Malfurion. Elves still guard the shrine though it is still in Ashenvale serving as rememberance of the mighty elf.
RelationsEdit
It can be speculated that Melean and Anduin Lothar and Uther are the same.
All fought and died defending their countries.

"We cant kill an Aspect of such power!" Melean proclaims
"Not kill, defeat just send him running... heh for a General you still need a little bit more training" Kril'Dor explains.
"Your bravery is unmatched Night elf, but you are foolish to die while they retreat" Deathwing tells Melean.
"I fight for not myself, but I fight for Azeroth. Something you know nothing of... corrupted Dragon!" Melaen to Deathwing
"Jarod, Myself, Braxigar, and Krasus assault Archimondes army, while you, Cenarius and Tyrande get into the temple and stop the ritual." Melean tells Malfurion
"No, its all our battle, we march at dawn." Malfurion tells Melean
"What was the point of this meeting then?" Melean laughs
"For Elune!",
"For Cenarius!",

"FOR AZEROTH!" Common battle cries
"Elune.... save... me..." His last dieing words.
"If I die atleast I died honorably like the Orc Braxigar did, I wish to die in combat, and once I die I will be with my brother again." Melean to the army and Malfurion, Tyrande, Illidan, Jarod, Cenarius, and Krasus present.
"Nozdormu said this is my final fight, and I will die fighting in here!" Melean at the final march.
