Ok, to continue the conversation, Deathwing did go nuts (openly) well before the second war, as most of Malygos' flight was decimated by Deathwing round the time of the war of the Ancients no matter which timeline you look at. Of course, we are talking about time travel here, which is chaotic enough that that may not matter. Krasus clearly had no power over the Demon Soul in the Alternate Timeline, so we can only assume that he was among the mass of frozen Dragons in the Original and someone else got Deathwings attention so that the Blues could attempt the fight and get wasted.
