Minionman/Draenei military
< Minionman
Though small in number, the draenei have quickly gained a reputation as dangerous and tough fighters within the alliance. Their experiences surviving constant warfare on Outland for the past several decades, plus their gifts with the holy Light and magic, have made draenei fighters a force to be reckoned with.
Paladins
Edit
When the humans and Draenei first met, both sides were amazed to find that they used a similar sort of fighter, a front line warrior using abilities with the holy light to heal and protect allies and fight enemies. The Draenei and human paladins came existence through different circumstances, but their abilities over time came to resemble each other quite closely. While the original human paladins were priests who learned to fight with weapons, the Draenei paladins were front line warriors who delved deeper into their abilities with the Holy Light than most Draenei. Draenei paladins were not created in response to a particular problem, they instead emerged from experimentation.
Over time, Draenei Paladins became their main front line fighters, with more physically focused warriors being used more for skirmishes or other less organized fights. Dranei paladins learn an extensive array of healing and protective abilities, in addition to their natural abilities as draenei. The Paladins have a reputation of being almost impossible to kill, but when enemies focus on others fighting with the Draenei, the paladins make those fighters difficult to kill as well. Most maintain strong abilities in physical combat as well, and are quite capable of fighting several other enemies on physical combat.
When Draenei were fighting on their own on Outland, Paladins would form large lines, and absorb attacks from fel orcs, demons, and other enemies, while mages behind damaged the draenei. When the draenei/Blood elf fighting started, the paladins quickly learned to defend themselves against magical attacks. In mixed armies in the alliance, the Draenei maintain a similar role, guarding archers or mages behind, healing allies, and attacking enemies focused on other targets. In larger battles the draenei will either disperse themselves among other front line fighters, or collect together to form a strong section.
Draenei, Human, and Dwarf paladins have exchanged many techniques since the the two groups met, and the paladins are more powerful fighters than ever.
