In no way is this associated with the real lore of the game and is a made up prestige class by a Roleplayer
Is a spellcaster remarkably similar to warlocks and the like of those who master fel magics and the dark arts of demonology. They infuse their enemies with fear and despair as they seek plausible candidates for their dark order or dark harvest.
When gnomes delved into fel magics like demonology another gnome combined demonology with other methods that were shunned by the rest of their race, exiles by most except the most dark wielders of the fel. Originally established by Torkir Kibbeltorque. Father of a gnome who would carry on this dark profession named Coorik Von Kibbeltorque. People rarely see one and usually dislike them as much as warlocks, any race can become one as long as they delve into fel magics or seek the proper master of the art. So far the only ones who have been known in this art are Coorik and his father and a handful of other individuals.
The Demon Collectors or Xim'kaeliks are a practitioners corruption and of demons who wield corrupting fel powers to decimate their foes to either destroy or turn their enemies to their favor and practice uses with Felbloods, originally a name made up for those who become demons from fel taints such examples like Satyr and Felblood Elves, They use their plethora of hellish painful techniques. Depending on the amount of corruption it does a certain amount of damage, truly fearsome competitors in combat they are a branch of demonic magic, similar to Demonology and Warlocks or Felsworn. They get stronger with each soul that is bound to theirs, for example for each demon they have in the nether they gain a certain boost to magic and sheer will power. In turn they deal heavier stronger spells and can control more minions, if they control too many though, they must focus on controlling their demons and are unable to cast spells. What's unique about them is the fact of their Xim'kaelik Tattoo on their back allows them to use their body similar to The Skull of Gul'dan and channel powerful nether and fel energies through their body making them dangerous enemies.
How to become oneEdit
The Xim'kaelik is a fairly recent order in the Burning Legion, usually initiated by a master Xim'kaelik, including the first Xim'kaelik Torkir Kibbeltorque. The initiation is started when the person is put in the middle of a certain demonic rune circle and infused into the point of becoming a Felsworn or Demon. Then they get a tattoo burned into their skin with fel fire releasing a harsh amount of pain enough to cause a mortal to end their own life. This tattoo that they have upon their body allows them to turn their body into a channeling rod of corrupting energies, this process done by a mortal would corrupt or completely kill them. Second the Xim'kaelik are taught the arts of their class and are then sent to train under another Xim'kaelik until their skills are good enough they can operate changes on their own body and improves their abilities.
These wielders of the fel taint wield blades with fel poisoned edges, these poisons excreted from the blade itself. It comes in varieties from acidic to continual tainting and possessive, the possessive poison has the spirits of countless demons of the nether who seem to control the target over time. The tainting acts similar to the Xim'kaelik's fel tattoo and produces harmful fel energies until the target turns into a demon or dies. The acidic is one of the most deadly, it harms those with fel energies in their body the worse, fel energies increasing it's potency, however the caster can send their own fel energy into the poison itself to speed up the process of the victim being dissolved. They also might carry a fel energized magic orb shield, also known as a F.E.M.O.S. unit, it blocks most everything except light magic and special weapons. They also may carry a nether orb, used to transport victims with ease to the nether for later use.
Ranks & OrganizationsEdit
Master Xim'kaelik: Having learned all of the techniques of the Xim'kaelik and perfected them to their own style, these wielders of these powers have their own personal powers and weaknesses, aswell as a special blade assigned to them. They have an advanced Soulstone that seems to work like a Phylactery, so long as they keep their soul there, they'll never die permanently, And usually seal alot of their power within their blades their servants or a trinket.
Intermediate Xim'kaelik: Those who are close to mastering the art but borderline to such, they make up the regular ranks most assume the job of Fel Corrupter. They hunt for the higher ranked ones for candidates for the legion, or someone they must kill. These are able to gain power from souls bound but they have to be powerful, most of them have their souls owned by Kil'jaeden at this point.
Beginner Xim'kaelik: I'll prepared they only know a few skills, the rest are warlock abilities, they have miniscule fel powers compared to Intermediate. These usually gain the Fel Corrupter job if they do not show promise. They gain power from soul binding, they get their souls binded to imps and work their way up, increasing in power.
Something unique to this class of demon wielders, they make their own demons and construct the demon to have certain traits, all of them learn this, but advanced make the most powerful, they can alter any demon to be a tactical advantage, Wrathguards are such a case, possessing toes instead of hooves.
These slightly differ from common warlock skills.
