The Piracy was started when Admiral Anador Brightstrider left the Bloodsail Buccaneers. He took 13 of his friends with him and together they aquired (Killing the troll tribe in possession of it and enslaving the suvivors is more like it)1 mile of land somewhere in Stranglethorn Vale. Using supplies most generously donated by the Blackwater Raiders (Technically the Blackwater Raiders were shipping supplies to Booty Bay to repair some of the buildings and Anandor and his friends pirated their supplies, ship and crew which they sold as slaves). They (and their slaves) got to work and fashioned a crewd village with a port. Now basically every bandit, cut-throat, exile, and pirate would stop here and slowly "Freedom Port" as it was called (Because every faction had the FREEDOM to make PORT there). Within 10 years the small city has grown to be roughly half the size of Stormwind.

The Piracy is actually some could say the child of the Blackwater Raiders and Bloodsail Buccaneers. They have business men trying to find rare products not found by the Trade Coalition, and bloodthirsty pirates looking for fotune. The port welcomes all factions (even their enemies who they'll probably just kill as soon as they dock) and beleives their faction must retain neutrality to survive. So far they only have 12,000 members, but they are still growing.
Ranking
Usually children 8-15 must be cabin boys to captains till they're 16, and then their ranking systems are as follows
- Brig Rat-(Misruly people, demoted to the brig bound for slavery. They might also swab the deck, mine, repair ships, and row)
- Sailor-(Free pirates who are not much better off then the brig rats)
- Cook and Physician/Healer-(Hey even pirates get sick and need to eat)
- Captain-(The leader of a ship)
- Commodore-(13 people who help decided the major things in the city and are basically captains with more power)
- Admiral-(The Leader. If the Commodores can't decide, He/She will)
