Varedis was the oldest of Kath'ranis and Aelinda's children. He grew up in the barracks along with Nairb and Kath'ranis. When Quel'Thalas fell, he joined the Blood Elves' movement. Then he became one of the Illidari demon hunters.
He even ran the training grounds for future demon hunters in the Black Temple and Ruins of Karabor in Shadowmoon Valley Outland.
Varedis was one of five warriors sent to Illidan by Kael'thas to be trained as a demon hunter. It was the first time that blood elves were allowed to demon hunters. Varedis was put through the most of excrutiating trials. He was the only one that succeded. He was a very powerful demon hunter, even better then his teachers. Even Illidan saw it and he was then taught by 3 masters of the art. Varedis even became more powerful then the 3 teachers. He stole the shadow council's book of fel names and memorized each name. That was the equivalant to absorbing Gul'dan's skull.
After he was killed, Nairb took his body and placed it into the new Sunwell. He was reborn and beter then ever. They fixed his eyes, and cured his magic addiction. Varedis did the unspeakable again, he once again became a demon hunter, turning him into a blood elf. Now the teacher(Varedis) was taught by the student (Thedarin).Though Kath'ranis is mad he is one since that goes against what he believes. It seems that Varedis was destined to become, and stay a demon hunter his whole life...
