Nebesk/Tadkins' Betrayal

< Nebesk

Tadkins thought back of all those years of service and effort she had given the Alliance, and shuddered in disgust. She thought back on all the thousands of Horde soldiers slain by her hand for it's glory. Is it worth throwing it all away? "It matters not. You will continue to slaughter the Horde animals. You will do it for the Alliance no longer, but rather for pure pleasure."

Tadkins thought of all those worthy soldiers she had fought alongside in the past, namely the Knights of Menethil and the Mountain Guard. There were also those she had recently met, eager to bring bloodshed to the Horde. Would she be forsaking them as well?

"They are the true warriors. The only Alliance willing to take action against those threats. You will not be forsaking them. If they approach and ask you, you will fight for them. What you are doing now is only a strike at the weak, pathetic pretenders of Stormwind."

Tadkins glanced down from her vantage point atop the table directly in the center of this particular room inside Stormwind Keep, where the Stormwind Council, it's guards, and it's citizens gathered. She had interrupted a meeting already in progress, but what she had to say wouldn't take long at all.

"Too long have I watched your false heroes parade around with a sense of self-satisfaction, yet do nothing when danger invades your very homes. Too long have the true warriors fought alone, without any support from their so-called brethren."

"You see, it was I who alerted the Horde as to the locations of our supplies. It was I who led Alliance troops to their death in a futile attack on a Horde capital city." Tadkins said with a wide smirk. The %%!!* was really enjoying this.

"From this point on, your shames and your failures are no longer mine. I'm in it for myself now, and I wash my hands of your pathetic Alliance. And so, I submit my letter of resignation."

Tadkins pulled forth a murky green bottle, the same type found at the scene of Menethil Harbor just a week ago. Gripping the neck of the bottle tightly, she peered around the room of gathered guards, councilmen and citizens through narrowed eyes. Tadkins released the grip, and the bottle fell to the floor, shattering and delivering it's payload.

Toxic gas, choking sounds and panic spread through the hall like wildfire. A squad of four guards snapped to action and rushed toward Tadkins' position atop the table in the middle of the room. Tadkins drew forth her axe and sneered at the guards. "Took you long enough." she muttered under her breath. Tadkins made the first move. She swung her axe in a wide arc at their midsections, but was largely deflected by the guard's shields. Taking advantage of their momentary shock, she tucked her head and barrel-rolled through the opening left by two guards, making her way to the exit of the hall.

Mankrik's Wife, her most recent ghoul minion acquisition, stepped forward as she saw her master making the planned escape, blocking the hall exit as well as she can. Using her ghoul as cover, Tadkins began the incantation to summon forth a Death Gate. As the portal of darkness formed, Tadkins waved her hand toward the chaotic scene. Tendrils of magic shot forth from her hand, arcing toward the ground. Where the tendrils touched the floor, another ghoul minion would rise, immediately descending upon the guards and citizens. With her purpose finished and the intended message sent all too clear, she strode forth into the gate, axe still in hand.

Word will spread out. Tadkins will no longer be welcomed in the Alliance lands. As if she wanted to continue to associate with the weak, lax garbage anyway.

"It is much better this way." she said to herself. Booty Bay was rather nice this time of year.
