Ruel'Thas Sunstrider was the only son of Kael'Thas Sunstrider. Jaina Proudmoore might be his mother and if, they might had a little relationship when in Dalaran.
He grew up in Silvermoon City and became a Blood Knight. Many years later he led the Quel'Thalas Refugees to their new home on an island northeast of Quel'Thalas, after the crazed Kael'Thas had attacked Silvermoon for the Burning Legion. Their new home, Sin'Thalas, was even more beautiful than their orignial home.
