Champion of the Kaldorei

Kur'talos Trueblade was a champion of the kaldorei. Not much is known of his childhood, but most Night Elves knew who he was when he became an adult and entered himself in the Night Elven Forces. Kur'talos was fierce and full of agility, even when he wore the heaviest of plate mail. Kur'talos Trueblade was certainly a hero among the Night Elves. He was considered the most generous of all the Lieutenants of Tyrande Whisperwind. He helped many in need and certainly has his fair share of kills. Kur'talos isn't famous for one specific achievement, but his long line of heroics during his life. Kur'talos was one of the 39 people accompanying Zombieheadd into Ahn'Qiraj.

Turning Point

One day, Kur'talos was sent on a solo mission to the Eastern Plaguelands. He was to help the Argent Dawn enter and destroy Naxxramas. Kur'talos entered Naxxramas alone with the help of an extremely rare invisibility potion that makes anyone invisible to great beings. He stepped into Kel'thuzad's lair and found the unexpected. Kel'thuzad was no where to be found, but unfortunately for Kur'talos, the Lich King was sitting on Kel'thuzad's throne. The Lich King, an extremely powerful being, saw Kur'talos even with the invisibility potion and Death Gripped Kur'talos. The Lich King spoke, "Well, well what do we have here? A warrior of the Night Elves? Foolish mortal, I sense you were after Kel'thuzad? Well, he's on a little errand. What you should focus on is me. Can you feel my power, mortal? Can you not sense that with a snap of my finger your soul will languish in damnation for all eternity?! Well, I thought as much. Today is your lucky day. I will not be turning you into a mindless Ghoul. You will have the honor of serving me as a Death Knight. Accept it, Night Elf. You should be honored." And with a snap of his finger, the Lich King created a mystical runeblade and touched Kur'talos's forehead with it. The Lich King released him, and with a wicked grin, Kur'talos addressed himself as "Plagueblade."
