The Nameless One is one of the five Old Gods, living far beneath Northrend in the ancient caverns beneath Azjol-Nerub. It is so hidden and so well protected, no one has ever even confirmed its existence.

HistoryEdit

The Nameless One was one of the five Old Gods who ruled the land before the Titans came. When they did come, the Old Gods were defeated in the inevitable war that followed. The Nameless One was imprisoned beneath what would become Northrend, ever scheming. When Illidan's earthquakes opened his prison into the caverns of Azjol-Nerub, it instantly spawned the Forgotten Ones, who, in turn, spawned the Faceless Ones. The Faceless Ones invaded Azjol-Nerub, and a terrible battle ensued, between the brute force of the Faceless Ones and the magical and technological skills of the Nerubians. In the end, the Old God came into contact with the Nerubians, and the two forces allied. The Nameless One exchanged the brute force of the Faceless Ones to protect the Nerubians for the magical abilities of the Nerubians on his side. Now, they form an alliance that could topple the Scourge, then go on to wreak havoc on the world above.

AppearanceEdit

The Nameless One is much like its spawn the Forgotten Ones. It is a huge blob of purple gelatin, with a few eyes and tentacles mixed in. However, it has a huge eye atop it, with the powers to command an entire army of Faceless Ones and Nerubians. It is also much bigger than its spawn.
