OverviewEdit

Kel'Thuzad is one of the original PvP servers and has been open since launch. The server has a relatively equal Horde:Alliance ratio, with the majority playing Alliance.

Character transfers were available from Kel'Thuzad to Malorne from Monday, March 6, 2006 to Thursday, March 9, 2006. These character transfers did little to resolve the chronic lag and queues the server had been experiencing since launch. Several months later, however, Kel'Thuzad was moved to a new hardware cluster, which completely eliminated these problems once and for all.
