Skortha was another survivor of the Remaking. However, unlike his brother, he did not awake until the Troll Wars, more than seven-thousand years after Skreeran II.
He wandered into the Arathi tribe of humans. After reaching adulthood, he aided the tribe in conquering other tribes, allowing the Arathi tribe to unite all humans into the single nation of Arathor. One day, while roaming the newly-built city of Strom, he met a refugee woman by the name of Raechl Taellon. Her village had come under attack from the vicious Trolls to the North and now she had nowhere to stay. So he invited her to stay at his house until she could find better boarding. However, they soon fell in love and were married, producing a son, who they named Sergrahn. He was a dark skinned boy, strong and fit. Later they had a second son, who was given the name Serbry. He was at home in the forest, skilled with the bow, and agile on his feet.
Years passed, and Skortha grew old. But when the Trolls made war against the elves, an alliance was formed between the elves and the humans. Due to this, Skortha was finally able to meet his older brother, though unintentionally. Finding that his brother had discarded the family name, he and Sergrahn begged that they could pass on the name. Skortha did not fight in the Troll Wars, but his sons did. Skortha settled down in Strom where he eventually passed at the ripe old age of 85.
