Skreeran VIII, born one year before the Second War, grew up to join the Knights of the Silver Hand. He was relatively happy through his childhood, and by the time he was eight, he had a brother and sister. He became a squire, a paladin's apprentice, revering the Light, and became a close friend of Uther the Lightbringer. There was something about Arthas however, a certain cockiness that made Skreeran VIII less trusting to him than other paladins. In the Third War, he did his best to aid the soldiers in repelling the Scourge, and ending up following his father and many other soldiers to reclaim the city of Andorhal. Unfortunately, he was there to see his father slain by Kel'thuzad, who had come to repel the advancing humans. Skreeran was appalled when the Knight of the Silver Hand was disbanded by Arthas, and left in a brooding depression. He traveled to his mother, who was naturally immune to the plague, and was living in hiding in what had become the Western Plaguelands. He offered to help her leave, and go with him to Stormwind, and she agreed. They left with his siblings and fled to Stormwind in the South.
Skreeran VIII continues to live in Stormwind, but frequently travels. He was part of the group that reawakened Skreeran I, and later was at the front of the assault on Northrend. He is determined to defeat to Scourge, having seen its merciless brutality firsthand.
Skreeran VIII recently began a controversial marriage with one of the Forsaken, Relia Stillfield, who was his close friend while he was in Lordaeron, but eventually succumbed to the Scourge. Upon finding her in Undercity, they began spending time together, and recently got married. For th most part, neither the Alliance nor the Horde openly approves of this marriage, but have left it alone to prevent hostilities with the other. For a while, it was thought that this would spell the end of the Skreeran name, for the Forsaken are unable to reproduce, however, Skreeran VIII has given permission to Serian to name her firstborn child Skreeran IX.
