• Physical description: (Cursed Years) Yanamari appears to be young, almost as if she has just reached maturity recently. However, there also appears to be something wrong with her that anyone with eyes could see (Provided she isn't covering herself up with clothing and masks). She carries a figure and a look about her that she would be extremely vibrant and beautiful if it wasn't for her apparent affliction. Her naturally turqouise eyes have been dulled, producing almost no glow at all. Pits have appeared under them, creating an un-natural shadow upon her face. The girl's lips appear cracked and dry and have no color to them with a face that is often contorted in some sort of look of burden, whether it be pain, exhaustion or something else is unclear. Yana's skin tone is marred by spots of paled skin, also cracked and dry. Like her eyes, her throat carries an un-natrual shadow upon it, and two spots, one on each side are sunk in. This seems to have an effect on her breathing as she takes short, shallow breaths. If you were to watch her for a time, you might catch her having sporatic spasms or convulsions which may last no more than a second or two or rubbing a sore muscle. She has also been seen clinching her head on occasion. Even her body posture suffers, as she tends to lean on things when she can if standing and she has an awkward gait while walking. Should you catch her speaking to someone, or if being spoken to, you might notice a raspy sound in her voice as well as a hint of effort in her words, probably brought on by pain. If visible, someone might notice a sickening looking scar upon her left shoulder, just to the side of her collarbone. As for her choice of clothing, Yanamari dresses herself in simple dark colored garments. Almost always seen in form-fitting leather, she appears to be comfotable in it, despite her difficulties breathing. Upon her right arm she brandishes an armband made of mooncloth that bears the symbol of the Moon Guard, the Guardians of the Temple held most sacred by Night Elven society. However, this armband is extremely old and tattered, seeming as though it might fall apart if tugged on too roughly. Looped around her neck is a simple necklace comprised of a thick leather string and Silversage leaves. Despite all this, she seems to have a look in her eyes of steadfast determination and a friendly demeanor, making her seem at least "semi-approachable". Finally, on her belt she carries a mithril case of an intricate design secured by a complex locking system which could hold any number of things. No one has ever seen her open it, so what it truly contains is a mystery.

• Personality: Yanamari is a sweetheart when in social situations, but do not make the mistake of forgetting that she is a highly trained soldier. When the need is required, she is quick to issue orders or make decisions and will back them up with strong resolve and may sometimes lose her patience in certain circumstances. After all, she was an assassin during a time of chaos... When not on the battlefield, Yanamari is willing to be talkative to anyone who is willing to be talkative with her. She was often avoided like the plague due to her condition and now enjoys every second when someone chooses to converse with her. This causes her to be very friendly, even to a complete stranger. She can be easily embarassed though. Now that she is a mother, she has a protective attitude towards those in need, sometimes causing her to seem like an elder sister to some.

• Special Possessions: Yanamari has a number of sentimental items in her possession. One of which was the armband she was given long ago by the Moon Guard for her services as a biologist studying the decendants of the Aqir, the Qiraji. This armband was hewn of enchanted mooncloth, and had the ability to hone the wearer's focus and concentration. Now, since Yana's slumber, the cloth is old and rather rugged, but still holds it's magical power. Another of her possessions is a necklace crafted by Ishanah of the Aldor and blessed by A'dal, the Naaru leader of Shattrath.

• Goals & Motivators: Now that she is free of her curse, Yana has a primary goal of doing her best at assisting the Alliance in creating a better world through any means necessary, predominantly for her daughter Illiana to grow up in.

Yanamari was born a little over 500 years before the Sundering within the Temple of the Rain in Suramar, the Night Elf capital of the time.
