Biography

The Path of a Rogue

Cornelius Gearspin started out very young, like all sociable gnomes, as an novice engineer in the depths of Gnomeregan, possessing an adept mind willing to devote every fiber in the name of innovation. However, when Sicco Thermaplugg overthrew the High Tinker and his council, Gearspin was forced to evacuate the radiated halls and seek refuge in the chasms of Ironforge. During that time of exile in Tinker Town, he began to dabble in the arts that come naturally to all of his kindred, walking amongst most nether detected nor seen and accessing areas most races cannot reach. Eventually, he perfected those techniques to the extent of being able to step into the shadows at will. Then, he used his skills as a tinkerer to makeshift himself practice locks and keyholes, which he continuiously rebuilt as his picklocking skills became greater, until the devices eventually combusted under the pretense of overuse.
