Rise of the LegionEditThis section concerns content exclusive to the Warcraft novels or short stories.
The Bloodsworn clan was formed after Dorthar swore his allegiance to the Horde. There, he invited a large number of centaurs, including Outcasts (exiled centaurs) from both the Gelkis and Magram clans, to join by his side and swear their oath to him and Vol'jin, Warchief of the Horde. All the centaurs agreed to his proposal and the Bloodsworn clan was established.
In the The Dark Below, the Bloodsworn clan was granted amnesty by Vol'jin, and many of them were recruited to serve into the ranks of the Horde and the Orgrimmar Legion. Some serve as elite guards to the Warchief within the city of Orgrimmar.
