When Alterac was placed under martial law by order of King Terenas, Isiden fled to Gilneas, where he hoped to rally support. He was eventually backed by Genn Greymane, Gilneas' king, as the matter of the succession began to heat up.
During the Shattering, Isiden Perenolde left Gilneas when the worgencurse erupted. He returned the ruins of Alterac City and planned to have it rebuilt by his uncle's name. However, Ogres of the Crushridge clan have taken power over the ruins. As the war between the Alliance and Horde continued, Isiden gathered many members of the Syndicate and Ravenholdt to join by his side and drive the Ogres out from the ruins.
After reclaiming the fallen kingdom of Alterac, the royal nobles of the Syndicate decided to appoint Isiden as their King. Together, Isiden and his people rebuilt the city of Alterac and hope to make peace with the Alliance.
Rise of the LegionEditThis section concerns content exclusive to the Warcraft novels or short stories.
The city of Alterac has been rebuilt and King Isiden has combined the Syndicate and the Ravenholdt into the Alterac Legion. When the Forsaken were launching attacks throughout Hillsbrad, Isiden led his army to aid the Gilneas Liberation Front and the Stormpike Guard in reclaiming Silverpine Forest and a couple of areas around Hillsbrad. Many of the undead Forsaken have been wiped out by the combined forces.
After driving the Forsaken away, Isiden and the Alterac Legion were welcomed into the Alliance and hope to make restoration to Northern Lordaeron.
