History
Living
Childhood/Adulthood
Abiel Stormcry was a clever child. He attended school and church at Stormwind's Cathedral. He learned the Holy ways of the Priests. At age 5, the war began. His parents were killed and returned to life as an undead. Abiel fled to the forest and adapted to the ways of the animals. He was raised up to age 11, and then the animals left him. He was stranded, and lost in Elwynn Forest. Then Emphelia Johannsen found him and took him back to the inn in Goldshire. They were 12 when it happened. Abiel was adopted and raised to age 18. From there, he continued on his journey to meet his parents.
The Church of Stormcry
At age 21, Abiel built a Church in Stormwind, called the Church of Stormcry. There, the Priests of Abiel teach all who come. It is customary to wear formal attire to church. At Church, you learn crafts, and you get taught the ways of the Light. Abiel despises all things demonic, excluding the Undead. Abiel is training to search for his parents so he can slay them. He wants to kill them so that they have no more influence on the world anymore. His parents, when dead, will go into the Light. Abiel only wishes the best for his parents.
The Time Has Come
At age 56, he found his parents. They knew him, and loathed him. They attempted at his life, and Abiel won. Their spirits left the bodies and walked into the Light. Abiel was sorrowful for their loss. He returned to Elwynn Forest and continued teaching at the Church.
Close to Death
Pleading With The Light
Now 67, Abiel has been overcome with an illness. He pleaded with the Light to let him stay, but the Light disagreed. Now Abiel has one year to live. He wants to come to Nefarian and slay the beast, so he can have peace. He has to hurry up and get a cure to overcome the deadly poison inside...
Personality
Abiel is a laughable man. He is comedic, and often talks at Church meetings. His guard is a serious person...but still laughs once in a while.
Abiel may every once in a while enter a trance as the Light speaks through him. Lately, they have been about Illidan cursing the Outland, and about the death of the leaders in years to come. A memorable trance was: "The Undead have been relentless... They are plotting the downfall of everyone, including the Horde. Illidan is growing strong... Beware the Outland... Beware the Darkness..." Leaving the trances are difficult. First, he froths at the mouth, and shrinks down in size. Then, he reverts to normal size. He yells about feeling like he is exploding on the inside, then is done. His guard writes down all that is said on a scroll, then stores them away in the Church somewhere.
