For a friend

Think of your healer's life/mana bars as your life bar and don't let her get hit!

If your healer is healing her self, she is not healing you.

When she is hit her casting slows or stops.

Your healer has nothing you would call armor.

Take care of your life bar. Heres how.

What I need a War to do!

So, Tank == Shield. Get one. You can carry an extra sword for solo or easy stuff. But have a shield and 1H sword for tanking.

The next two save for when you see aggro on your healer.

All the above goes on your tool bar. Taunts must be easly used when your healer is in pain. Dont try to point and click, pound on the keyboard.

What not to do:

Don't generate fear! Fear sends mobs to get there friends.

  • Intimidating Shout == Fear !! Last resort only! Only do this after you shout RUN 4 UR LIFE!

Only in a big open space. Or solo should you try this.

Putting this into a Macro with the above message /p RUN is not a bad thing, when a wipe is about to happen. If a Rez'er you can get away from aggro then all is not lost.

Now go read:

Hybrid's are usefull.

A side point, After running over 100 levels of casters (lock priest mage), I started a Druid and learned alot about mana management I never new before. That being the Five second rule, when mana regen starts flowing after the last cast. I had read about it but had not actuly notised it in action. So yes it's usefull to try many different classes.
