About me
Hello everyone! I'm Teomyr, one of WoWWiki's Admins, and I'm trying to help the wiki whereever I can, though I'm rather inactive at the moment.
Teomyr is my Gnome Rogue on the German Kil'Jaeden Europe realm, and was my main char at the time I registered here. At the moment, his equip is really bad, since I mostly play my Human Priest or my Warlock on the same server.
Sometimes, when I'm bored, I join Adys and Kirkburn with my low-level warrior on their realm, Stormrage Europe :)
What I'm doing here
You may notice that my list of contributions is not that long, even though I'm an admin. I mostly do stuff for the wiki in the background, that is:
- Template edits and discussion on IRC
- Development of several MediaWiki extensions for future use with the wiki:
- Tooltip extension for displaying WoW-styled tooltips on mouse over (now obsoleted through the introduction of another tooltip extension)
- Extension for importing XML item data from Wowhead
- Minor corrections to articles (CSS, HTML, Wikifying...)
- Collaboration with Wowhead (item data, article pages)
And, of course, the usual administrative tasks that I've just started to deal with :)
I'm also an editor at Wowhead, adding content to many NPC, instance or faction pages.
IRC
The #wowwiki IRC channel is a nice place to hang out. Most of the Admins frequent that channel, always at your service.
I've started capturing all the funny quotes in my collection of #WoWWiki quotes, have fun :D
Test wiki
My test wiki is currently down, since there isn't much to test at the moment. It might be re-enabled at a later date, sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
