Real or Fake?

The validity of this item has been cast into doubt by many posters about the item. People have noted that the wording of the item enhancements was very suspicious, however on the new Burning Crusade Profession page, under tailoring, there are items which have the same wording for spell critical strike rating. Resilience was also a new term which people thought would be fake, but again, please check the note below to see new beta items which have the exact same tooltip style.

The origin of this item is unknown.

The consensus from the comments on the source article is that this item is a fake.

This item has been confirmed fake from several unlinkable sources. Also resilience is spelt wrong :) -- Kirkburn (talk) 21:09, 25 October 2006 (EDT)

Adding to the above, that this item was a screenshot I made as a demonstration for the Something Awful WoW forum of how persistent WoW hoaxes can be. I think I proved my point. Thread is available to anyone with a SA forum account. -- Threep
