Character Concept Edit

Valrona is a World of Warcraft roleplaying avatar created on the US realm Ravenholdt. Valrona is a female Orc rogue, she was born in the green plains of Draenor.

Appearance Edit

A somewhat short yet slender female orc stands before you. You can tell she is ready to pounce, her knees are bent and a presence around her seems to drain the courage from your heart. A mask covers the lower half of her face, framing her pale blue eyes, short navy blue hair, and elaborate and numerous piercings on both of her ears. She glares at you, you notice a small scar under her right eye. The scar is a slightly darker tone than the rest of her dark olive colored skin. She is clad in red leather and black chains as your eyes follow her arms you're astonished to see instead of having hands she has blades. Her "hands" seem to be made of a dark metal and four fearsome long blades flow out where her knuckles should be. Each "hand" has two glowing red eyes that seem to emanate the rage and hatred she feels. You know she is smiling underneath her mask, she takes pleasure in your fear. Before you now what happens she charges, her feet criss-cross like that of a plainstrider. Her boots make soft thumps against the hot desert sand. You want to run but fear holds you in place. A menacing look in her eyes and she is upon you. Darkness.

History Edit

Valrona was born in the twisting green hills of Draenor. Her mother was a warrior of the Shattered Hand and her father a shaman of the Mag'har. She would not know either of them, for they would die to the Legion’s hand. Members of the Shattered Hand raised her. She was one of the few orcs that was given the Blood of Mannoroth since her childhood. Kargath Bladefist taught her the tricks every Orc assassin should know. She prospered under his guidance and with the power from the Blood Curse she became one of the clan’s most powerful weapons. Soon many Orcs of the Shattered Hand would leave Draenor and go through the Dark Portal into Azeroth by the promise of land to conquer and by the temptations of Medivh. Valrona would not jounrey to Azeroth for her training was not done. Kargath Bladefist saw the potential in young Valrona and gave her a task the would kill most Orcs of her age. But, if she could complete it she would be an elite member of the Shattered Clan. She was to hunt down a mutated panther that hand had drank the Blood of Mannoroth. The panther had transformed into a fearsome creature and had been terrorizing nearby Orc clans. Valrona set out on her journey and by luck stumbled upon the creature her first night out. It was a fearsome battle, she was agile and evaded most of the panther’s swipes. But, one swipe hit her and gave her a scar underneath her right eye. It is said that that swipe was the only attack made against her that ever managed to touch her skin. She returned the next morning with its head and Kargath gave her two of the finest fist weapons he had. They were twin weapons and never would ware from battle. Unlike most members of the Shattered Hand she did not cut off her hands instead, she wore her fist weapons over top of them. Kargath told her that for a rogue her fingers were to important to lose, he placed an enchantment on the weapons so she could take them off and put them back on but, the weapons could not be removed from her arms unless she did so herself. After her great feat she was dubbed Valrona Swiftblade, Death’s Grasp.

Valrona would journey through the Dark Portal during the Orc’s second crusade into Azeroth, though the crusade would have much less desirable results than the first. Valrona and many other Orcs from different clans were captured by the Humans and kept in internment camps. While at the internment camp Valrona developed a great hatred towards humans and a great friendship towards a troll named Palakk. He was a young Amani troll and taught Valrona many things. They soon fell in love but, when Thrall freed the Orcs from the Humans Valrona was not allowed to journey with them to Kalimdor. She still possessed a savageness that even she could not control. Palakk gave her a raptor egg he had found during his time before imprisonment. That egg would one day hatch into the raptor Valrona still rides today. Palakk and Valrona never saw each other again.

When Valrona returned to Draenor she found Kargath and other members of the Shattered Hand had become Fel Orcs. She fled to the only other home she knew, Garadar. At first the Mag’har were wary of her, she had been corrupted by the Blood Curse. But, after learning of her heritage they welcomed her into their home. Most would say she acquired all she needed in her life from the Shattered Hand but, the Mag’har gave her something just as valuable. The Mag’har taught her how to channel her rage and anger. She could focus it into a fury for completing an assassination but, could tone down (but never completely get rid of) her savage presence for diplomatic or social meetings. She felt eternally in-debt to her farther and the Mag’har, and still wears their tabard today in honor of all they did for her. Once Valrona could control herself, Thrall welcomed her into Orgrimmar. She is one of the few members of the Shattered Hand that are loyal to the New Horde. Valrona serves as one of the Orc’s and Thrall’s primary assassins. She can normally be found in the Cleft of Shadow, where some other loyal Shattered Hand members reside.

Palakk: Valrona's friend and lover during her time in a human run internment camp.

Affiliations Edit

1. Alliance - As a member of the Horde, she is hostile to all members of the Alliance, more so of the Humans because of her imprisonment in the internment camp.

2. Horde - Valrona trusts the Trolls and the Tauren, dislikes the Undead, and is not sure what she thinks about the Blood elves. She thinks the elves are foolish though because of their addiction to magic, she knows the consequences they will face through her time under the Blood Curse.

3. The Shattered Hand Clan - Valrona stills considers herself a member of the Shattered Hand, just a different branch of it than that of her corrupted Orc brothers in Outland. Valrona is hostile to the Shattered Hand in Outland, including her old mentor Kargath Bladefist.

4. The Mag'har - Valrona is exalted by the Mag'har and feels eternally in-debt to them for all they did for her.

5. The Bloodfury Clan - Valrona is a member of the Bloodfury Clan, a roleplaying guild on the Horde side of Ravenholdt (US)
