Wyat is neither your typical Blood Elf, nor a Blood Knight. He was orginally a city guard in Silvermoon before the Wars, then from the time of the Second War until the start of the Third War he was part of a liason detatchment that served with the Humans. It was here that he met and befriended a human Paladin named Elric who taught him something of the ways of the Silverhand. It was not until around the time that Wyat at last returned to the reconstructed Silvermoon that his powers as a Paladin began to manifest, and as far as he knows and is concerned they come from his faith in the Light.
