Guild rules
Edit
The Awakening Guild Rules:
The Awakening is a raiding guild. Our long term goals for the guild are to raid the end game:
- Real life comes before any game! If there is something that is going on in real life that keeps you away from the game please inform an officer. Communication is a must in a guild based on trust and understanding. We do not penalize members for not showing up to raids or not logging in due to RL. We do penalize if you do not inform an officer or your class leader if you are going to miss more then 1 or 2 raids in a row. Having members with bad attendance holds the guild back in progression. If you want to be in the guild then you need to keep us informed on why you will be gone and for how long. It is ok to have a RL but this is a raiding guild, you joined it to raid.
- All members of the guild need to be active, both raiding and family/friend members that don't log on for over a month without informing an officer will be removed from the guild to make room for a new member that will participate.
- Your behavior in game reflects back on your guild. The Awakening does not want to get a bad name on the server because of a few people. Behavior such as rudeness, ninja looting, disrespecting an officer or a fellow member, slandering people in general or causing drama will not be tolerated. Should officers agree that a members actions cross the line they will first be warned, and then removed..... It's that simple.
- All members should be able to pay for their own repairs during and after raids. No member should come to any event with less then 100% durability.
- All members are asked to register on our web site. The site is use as a hub of communications between our members on and off the game. All planning for raids, tracking of raid attendance, loot and discussion of guild business happens here.
- Participation in raids is a must if you are a raiding member of the guild. All raiding members should keep over an 80% raid attendance (monthly) unless otherwise informed by an officer. If a member cannot attend a raid they need to inform an officer why or post on the forum. If you cannot make the raid days and you are a raiding member of the guild the officers hold the right to move you over to friend/family member, or remove you to make room for a member of the guild that will participate.
- Communication is a key to keeping a guild running smoothly. If something happens in RL or in game that has cause problems with your game play. Please keep the officers informed.
- Addons/Pots Tba.
- Raiding with other guild is not permitted unless YOU ASK AN OFFICER and receive their approval. If you raid an instance (in which The Awakening is progressing, or farms) with another guild without approval that is cause for removal from the guild.
- The Awakening is a guild in a game! Everyone is to have fun!
Loot System/Rules
Edit
Loot System
Our loot system is Zero-sum DKP with fixed item prices.
Meaning the DKP spent are immediately distributed among all the raid members. We use fixed item prices displayed under http://www.thottbot.com
(The pruple score number in the bottom item tooltip) divided thru 10.
Loot Rules
- The "dkp officer" will link the item plus required points to obtain the item and ask for bids.(Bids are send thru whispers when asked!)
- The player with the highest positive DKP gets the item for the fixed price.
- Should two players have the same ammount of DKP and both want the same item, than they have to /random 1-1000 the highest roll wins the item.
- If no player bids for an item for his primary spec, than the item goes to the other classes for the secondary spec for free. /random 1-1000 the highest roll wins the item.
A dps item can go to a healer/tank class, which has a secondary dps spec. A healer item can go to a dps class, which has a secondary healer spec. A tank item can go to a dps/healing class, which has a secondary tank spec.
