Personality

Yvan is a very kind person who respects all the members of the horde, but he still dont trust everybody that he talks to. Yvan is also very curious and he have survived many times because of that.

Early life

I grew up in a village near Silvermoon, it was a peaceful village on top of a green hill, but one day the Amani trolls attacked without merci, the village was set on fire and i heared people who was screaming and many of the people in my village was slaughtered. When i was trying to run away i tripped, my parents didn´t notice it and just kept running. I fainted and woke up at a refugee camp, there was nearly no kids, only war veterans, they teached me how to use a sword and bow. The time passed and when i was about 20 the farstriders were recruiting more, i signed up as fast as i could and i had no idea my life would change fast in just a matter of days.

Farstrider training

I was trained with 19 other blood elfs at the farstrider enclave, we split into four teams with five persons in each team. All the teams got a name after the sanctums in eversong woods, my team´s name was south sanctum.

The first test was simple, find and kill an amani troll, everyone returned, but team north sanctum came with nothing but a torn-off arm, from one of their teammates.

The second test was a little bit harder, it involved killing any troll/wretched leader in eversong woods, there was four teams but only three leaders. Team east sanctum suffered here, they hadn´t planned the operation well and they could be happy to get away alive, so now it stood between my team and team west sanctum.

Survival challenge

Now it was only the last test left, the survival challenge, the test was simple, go out in ghostlands and survive for a week. We had to hunt our food and make sure we could survive all the carnivores in ghostlands. The first days was easy, just hunt down some lynxes and roast their meat over a fire, but at the fifth day we couldn´t get enough wood for a fire, and we had to walk a long way to find beasts to slay for food. We had to guard our camp in passes, while all the other ones slept one person had to guard. When the test was over we got back to the farstrider enclave, there our trainer, Salogel, should see how well we had made it. We were starving and there was nothing else that could make us fail the test. When west sanctum team came back it showed out that they had failed, one of the persons in their team was dead, several lynxclaw marks on his chest, and the rest of them was freezing and starving. But on the way back to Silvermoon we saw a huge camp of bandits close to the road, so we had to send someone to Silvermoon to call for help. Me, Salogel and west sanctum team stayed at the farstrider enclave while my team tried to get to Silvermoon (i still dont know if they survived) and then i took a well deserved rest.

The scourge and Sparky
