Wrath of the Lich King director killed in a hit-and-run accident

As reported by LA Weekly, Brigitte Burdine, a longtime video game casting and voiceover director died in a hit-and-run accident yesterday.

Burdine was 48 years old and has worked on titles such as World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Killzone 2 and InFamous and many other video games. Her current project was the new Mortal Kombat game.

She was on her way home on December 29, when she was hit by a dark sedan. She was rushed to the hospital, but she passed away from the injuries she sustained. LAPD are looking for suspects.

It fills me with rage that the person who did this didn't have the guts to take responsibility for his/her actions. I hope for mrs. Burdine's family and friends, as well as the memory of mrs. Burdine herself, that the sedan driver will be brought to justice. He/she deserves a lifetime in prison, don't you agree?

First of all, all my condolences go to the family, friends and other relatives close to mrs. Burdine.
As far as your comment about justice dear Emberstorm, I do agree with you that someone that deliberately and/or "hits and run" should be brought to justice! I just don't know for sure (myself) if a lifetime in prison would be enough.
Do you really think people that don't care about someone else's death would feel any regret in prison?
I may be wrong, but like child molesters, I would, without any hesitation, make an end to someone like that.
sincere apologies for my tone, but that's how I feel.
My condolences to all that are dear to Mrs. Burdine.
