As reported by LA Weekly, Brigitte Burdine, a longtime video game casting and voiceover director died in a hit-and-run accident yesterday.

Burdine was 48 years old and has worked on titles such as World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Killzone 2 and InFamous and many other video games. Her current project was the new Mortal Kombat game.

She was on her way home on December 29, when she was hit by a dark sedan. She was rushed to the hospital, but she passed away from the injuries she sustained. LAPD are looking for suspects.

    Cataclysm 10-Day Trial

    December 30, 2010 by Ausir

For those of you holding back on buying Cataclysm, Blizzard is offering a free 10-day trial of the expansion. All you need is to have your account upgraded with all the previous expansions and a level 78 character. Keep in mind you'll need a level 80 character to actually do any of the quests in the brand new zones. For more information, refer to their FAQ: of note, any characters you make will count towards your total character limit, any Worgen or Goblins you make will become locked and unusable after the trial expires (though accessible again if you upgrade), and any non-combat pets you acquire you will be able to keep.

World of Warcraft's Blizzard has confirmed that 'Titan' is the studio's "next gen MMO" and that's only because they want to "leverage" it as a recruiting tool.

A leaked document supposedly reveals Titan is due in late 2013, however Blizzard would only confirm that 'Titan' is their next MMO project. Diablo III is next.

For more information head to Strategy Informer for the full report.

A Titan Wiki has already been created - while empty for now, check it in the future for all kinds of info about this project.
