i bought the cataclysm + i dith the subscription but still if i go on me account and want to whisper somebody it says you must upgrade what must i do?

From what I remember, you will have to create a battle.net account, go into account settings, and fun your Wow trial, nearby there should be an upgrade to cataclysm option. You will need to put in your product code that came with it, unless you bought the game online. It should automatically upgrade if so.
