Apology for Earlier

Today has not been going at all well for me, but it's no excuse for being rude, and for that I apologize - the problem appears to be fixed now. Though if it happens again, I have a stick you can take to the machinery...*grin* Sincerely, Joshmaul 06:36, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

No probs, happy it's fixed now :) Adys 14:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

hi, can you please post the reason about the new sorting of Mirrors?? --Philson 15:24, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

No, read the talk page, it's right there.. Adys 07:04, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

i can`t find the reason!?! --Philson 09:47, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

"A valid point was raised recently is the abuse of numerical first-letter (intended or not, 0daypatch comes to mind)."
"As I said on IRC, aaawowpatch.com would get removed. Really obvious abuse will get you nowhere."

Guild page deletion

I wanted to update my guild's page and hadn't realized that it had been deleted last year (2007-06-17T21:50:12), I'm guessing from some policy violation. I had to page set to be watched but I'm thinking deletes don't generate watch notifications. (Bug in MediaWiki?)

Anyway, the last notification I got was in February 2007 for Bleeding_Hollow:MatureAsskickers. It looks like since then the new naming convention adds "Guild:" to the front and moves the realm to the end. If you can restore the content, I can take care of bringing it into compliance.

Is there a way to get notified of page deletes and renames that's different from edit notifications so I'll get notification of this in the future?

There's no way to get notified of this. I restored the guild at Guild:MatureAssKickers_(Bleeding_Hollow_US) Adys 15:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you very much. I'll put in an RFE on the MediaWiki list. (My team runs the same wiki on our own host and I run it internally at my company.) ScratchMonkey 19:36, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Graphic novel template

Hi, I am not keen on templates so I want to ask if you can change the "garphic novel" template so that it adds a, say, "graphic novel" category to images with this template. This is done to the "RPG" template. It can be made even better to recognise if it's used on an image or in an article like the "TCG" template. Unfortunately, I cannot do this myself so if you have time, please.Dakovski (talk) 13:43, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok, I made the template add categories but the images does not seem to appear to the new "category:Graphic novel images".Dakovski (talk) 12:49, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

contacting an admin

Hello. I'm not sure if I'm going about this the right way. There's a mild problem of not-quite-vandalism that I'd like to discuss with an admin, but it doesn't seem to be worth making a scene about on one of the village pump pages. Is there an email address or something similar for wowwiki admins? Farmbuyer@Kilrogg (talk) 21:23, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

IRC is the best solution Adys 06:32, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! Farmbuyer@Kilrogg (talk) 22:57, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

System Date

Hi, Adys... I just posted a change a few minutes ago and the history shows it was made 18 December 2007. maybe something needs adjustment? ~/o —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Exeglow (talk · contr).

The edit before yours was made on that date. It's possible you ran into a cache issue, but you shouldn't have. Kirkburn  talk  contr 17:47, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
