Lore
Edit
1. Demon Hunters don't use dark magic, they use arcane to fight against it. 2. Hero classes are available to anyone that completes the quest. But I agree, they can either be a ranged -arcane- user, to DPS, or have things like the FelCharge on their glaves to help melee fight.Double_Fury
Armor & wearpons
Edit
I'd love to have an upper body armor as an enchant, like rune masters. The idea of the blind fold dosn't have to be a requiremnet, as you don't -need0 to be blind to kill demons, but still cool all the same, as with the glaves- I want to use glaves!Double_Fury
Habilityes and Talents
Edit
The idea of the rune system is brillant! Kind of like the DK Rune system, but diffrent would rock! Double_Fury 18:37 12 January 2008
Constructive Criticism
Edit
I like most of these ideas, except there are a few problematic points. Demon Hunters wearing cloth would then mean that Blizz would have to implement a whole new type of armor to the game, as Demon Hunters are Agility heroes. The idea of making "tattoo armor" is pretty cool, but not at all implementable in-game. Think about how hard people complained about DKs getting free weapon enchants. Now imagine a class that doesn't have to worry about chest/bracers/gloves when raiding.
I like the idea of DHs having to worry more about dodge/parry more than rogues, but once again it comes down to itemization. Although you could give the DH more dodge/parry through talents, it would lead to imbalance with level scaling and such.
I must say absolutely not to the use of spell power/int weapons on the demon hunter. We do not need more confusion on loot distribution (DKs wanting spell power to increase Icy Touch/Death Coil damage, Rets rolling on Holy gear for more judge/seal damage, Hunters rolling on every single weapon and every single piece of mail within a 40 mile radius for damage, etc) and there is already a lot of classes using 1H SP weapons.
Overall it's a nice idea, but there's a few things that need to be rethought and refined before it would actually be implemented. --CellPunk (talk) 11:37, February 28, 2012 (UTC)
