The '''Council of Three Hammers''' is the regency that rules the [[Ironforge|Kingdom of Ironforge]] following the [[World of Warcraft: Cataclysm|Cataclysm]] and the petrification of King [[Magni Bronzebeard]]. The Council is so named because it is comprised of representatives from each of the three [[dwarf|dwarven]] clans of the [[Eastern Kingdoms]]:

== Fanart ==

−

Re your question, the general convention is that fanart is all right on a page as long as it isn't in an infobox or headlining. If massive amounts of fanart are being posted (and we usually only reproduce fanart Blizzard has already displayed), a separate gallery (see [[Sylvanas Windrunner]] as an example) can be created. In the case of [[Scourge]], however, I think it's fine to leave it there for now, as it's the only one on the page.--[[User:Ragestorm|<span style="border-bottom:1px dotted; cursor:help;" title="Admin">Ragestorm</span>]] <small>([[User talk:Ragestorm|talk]] · [[Special:Contributions/Ragestorm|contr]])</small> 21:50, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

The jackal and wild dog are cited at the top of the page.{{cite|MGWS|9}} The sentence is a bit wrong I think as the source does not say "They include small wild canines including, coyotes, jackals, and wild dogs." but says that coyotes, jackals, and wild dogs can use the same stats as a dog if you want. Unless that is supposed to mean they are dogs? I don't think so. As for the white hound, I am not sure who added it or where it comes from. Regarding your comment about adding citations for [[Sylvanas Windrunner]], I understand your perspective, but technically citing content that points to pages on WoWWiki is actually worse, if those pages don't have references themselves. [[BlizzPlanet]] is a [[Blizz]]ard authorized lore source. If you're going to point to pages at WoWWiki as sources, like [[The Dark Lady]], those pages need to have external source citations and refs. --[[Image:gengar orange 22x22.png]]&nbsp;[[User:Fandyllic|<span style="border-bottom:1px dotted; cursor:help;" title="Admin">Fandyllic</span>]] <small>([[User talk:Fandyllic|talk]] · [[Special:Contributions/Fandyllic|contr]])</small> 1:03 PM PST 29 Mar 2009

:Ok. After cheking blizzplanet I see that you're right, if we link to Blizzplanet in the missions articles the people can see the full transcript of the mission that wowwiki lacks. [[User:Benitoperezgaldos|Benitoperezgaldos]] ([[User talk:Benitoperezgaldos#top|talk]]) 20:46, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

::I'm not saying that you should link to Blizzplanet articles, but if you link to local WoWWiki articles, make sure they link to Blizzplanet or somewhere that might be considered an external source. You do good stuff, so keep doing it. --[[Image:gengar orange 22x22.png]]&nbsp;[[User:Fandyllic|<span style="border-bottom:1px dotted; cursor:help;" title="Admin">Fandyllic</span>]] <small>([[User talk:Fandyllic|talk]] &middot; [[Special:Contributions/Fandyllic|contr]])</small> 4:25 PM PST 29 Mar 2009

== Loot Tables ==

−
If you're referring to the loot tables for the Black Temple trash mobs, then I removed them because:

−
* They were out of date compared to the data from other websites.

−
* They didn't drop any noticeable unique loot (trash epics don't count because most of the trash mobs there can drop the same loot).

−
* If the table was to be updated, it would require an immense amount. For example, Wowhead.com has records of the [[Aqueous Lord]] dropping roughly 200 items. And since the values would constantly keep changing, I figured there was no point in keeping them.

−
−
I'm sory if you feel like I messed it up, but I thought it was appropriate to remove. Hope you understand. [[User:Reddwarf1928|Reddwarf1928]] <small>([[User talk:Reddwarf1928|<span title="Reddwarf1928's Talk">talk</span>]])</small> 03:52, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

==Lost ones==

−
Ok we have a problem, and its not your fault as best I can tell. Basically what's happened is that huge sections of information have been stripped from the article, info relating to Lands of Conflict and Manual of Monsters. Citations have been broken, and information has been taken out of context of those sources. Ok, while the info from those sources and some of the other Harborage quests don't overlap perfectly, part of this has to do with the fact that Lands of Conflict and Manual of Monsters was discussing the Fallow Sanctuary Lost Ones, not the Harborage. It was discussing the crazy ones only, they had enough sense to be able to call themselves "Lost Ones" but not enough sanity to interact with other races peacefully. They were violent and aggressive attacking anyone (obviously not the Harborage draenei). Basically someone came by stripped out the details and tried to merge the two accounts, without the understanding that previous source wasn't even touching on Harborage history. The info needs to be reinserted, citations fixed, and seperated into seperate sections if need be. Essentially the same situation that occurred [[centaur]] and [[Man'ari eredar]] pages. I suppose since the LoC and MoM info was specifically categorized under "draenei" it should probably be moved to a subsection of that article, with links back to the lost ones article, and only the "Lost Ones" specific referenced inserted in that article.[[User:Baggins|Baggins]] ([[User talk:Baggins|talk]]) 22:20, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

−
−
:I see, you have made a good solution by adding the another background in the draenei article, moving Draenei Lost Ones to just Lost Ones and Broken draenei to just Broken would also help to clarify everything, and I suggest a final solution, we can also separte the tribe called Lost Ones from the race with the same name; something similar to what I made with [[Tuurem]] and [[Tuurem (Lost Ones)]]. [[User:Benitoperezgaldos|Benitoperezgaldos]] ([[User talk:Benitoperezgaldos#top|talk]]) 23:18, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

−
−
::Ok, one more issue can "Lost one" be lower case? Most examples that I can find its in an npc title. Lost Ones could get its own page I suppose, but I'm not sure there is enough info for more than a stub... and stubs should be avoided.[[User:Baggins|Baggins]] ([[User talk:Baggins|talk]]) 23:26, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

−
−
:::MoM and LoC put uppercase, and all of the quests I checked in WoW are also uppercase. And about the stub, I can work in it, if you want I can start with information of LoC and MoM and then update it with the quests of WoW. As written on [[Illidan_Stormrage_(tactics)#Quotes]], Akama says after you kill Illidan: "The Light will fill these dismal halls once again. I swear it." hinting he took control of the Temple. Demon is not a race. It is a creature type. I agree that he is a kind of demon, but that is not his race just like someone like [[Archimonde]]'s race is not demon. There is no "real" difference from using <nowiki>"<br>"</nowiki> and <nowiki>"<br />"</nowiki>

−
−
The second one comes from XHTML, the last norm of web programming: an opened tag must be closed, but br is an opening and a closing tag, so it gives a <nowiki>"<br />"</nowiki>. That's why it's the form to use. Now <nowiki>"<br>"</nowiki> works, because HTML (old one) has been built to be '''very''' permissive.

Same thing goes for the img tag: <nowiki><img source="image.gif" /></nowiki>

I understand your point, and I don't want to get banned either

−
−
But I warn you, if this develops into a debate war, we could have a problem ;P

−
−
On the same page that you sent me, it also provides a Night Elf opposing argument. On the page that I sent you is conflicting information, which means that it could be the fault of Blizzard, and neither of us. On the page discussing the Furbolgs, it says that they originally shared the forest with Night Elves, bringing us further back in time, past the time of the Titans, possibly. The reason why this is possible is because there is no sure date for the creation of the Night Elves, and the first Sundering is only described as 10,000 years before Warcraft I. The Well of Eternity page states that the old gods sapped energy from the well (according to some sources, of course), so it is a possibility. The Troll page says that the creation of the Night Elves from the Trolls is a theory that ultimately has not been proven.

P.S. Sorry for the earlier post. I forgot to make a new title.

P.S.2 There is no evidence (from Blizzard or elsewhere) that the Trolls were Nocturnal. {{unsigned|Ding!}}

−

:There's no evidence that they ''weren't'' and changed their habits. Blizzard has deliberately left the whole issue ambiguous. Neither of you are on track for a ban, but continued hostilities will result in such an action.

:Incidentally, the general race descriptions have since all been contradicted or retconned. ::No mention or indication of Tauren druids in WotA. They basically show up with no discussion on classes or culture. The only major druidic contradiction is that it's the only source that suggests Malfurion is not the first mortal druid (Cenarius mentions others), while most others agree that he was either the first ever or the first night elf druid. I think the Tauren having earlier druids might have been an RPG addition that was rectified in a blue post or something. --[[User:Ragestorm|<span style="border-bottom:1px dotted; cursor:help;" title="Admin">Ragestorm</span>]] <small>([[User talk:Ragestorm|talk]] &middot; [[Special:Contributions/Ragestorm|contr]])</small> 01:15, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Then this pushes the origins of the Night Elves further back in time, or pushes the evolution of Druidism forward in time, making it one (if not the) newest form of Magic in World of Warcraft.

On clicking the Kaldorei link, it mentioned that they could be Dark Elves (non trolls), and early concept maps had "Dark Elf Lands" near mount Hyjal. Also, a fourth elven dialect is spoken on Mount Hyjal. I'll just let you read it: [[Dark elf]]

−
−
Also, from an evolutionary standpoint, the Trolls do not posess noticeable Night Vision, like the Night elves, and seemingly the Draenei (sorry if I spell Draenei wrong, their name confuses me). On top of that, some changes were just too extreme to happen (2 toes and 3 fingers to 5 and 5? Really...) Also, I have read that the Trolls do indeed worship a Sun God, and the Night Elves do not. {{unsigned|Ding!}}

−
−
:Dark elves are almost certainly an earlier developmental name for the night elves- there is no way of reliably including them in any major lore theories. The changes wrought to turn troll into night elf could quite easily have been that extreme; recall that the Well of Eternity is essentially ''liquid magic''- there's no way of knowing what it could do. Night elves don't worship a sun god, but trolls do, so they can't be related? By that logic, the Romans cannot be considered a part of western civilization because they worshipped a sun god and modern western nations don't. Religious and cultural practices are rarely a good indicator of what cultures led into others. --[[User:Ragestorm|<span style="border-bottom:1px dotted; cursor:help;" title="Admin">Ragestorm</span>]] <small>([[User talk:Ragestorm|talk]] &middot; [[Special:Contributions/Ragestorm|contr]])</small> 20:30, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

(my bad on the signing)

The official source stating that the forsaken "cannot use the light" is the RPG

−
−
None of the source you listed are official

−
−
[1] At what point does it say that the npc is using the light? It is a holy priest (forgotten shadow).

−
[2] Healing =/= using the light. Again using the forgotten shadow to heal him. No where does it say you are using "the light" to heal the npc. Re-read the forgotten shadow article. It talks about knowing the light many times. This simply means learning about the virtues of the light and the healing arts. It also explicitly says forsaken cannot use the light, they just learn of it.

−
[3]TGC is not an official source. They can do whatever then want in it.

−
−
If you want to specifically counter info with a cited official source you had better use one of your own. I will continue to delete that line until you can show me where any official Blizzard source says "Forsaken can use the light". You misunderstand what "knowing the light means". It is stated in the "Forgotten Shadow" article as understanding the nature of it. Never does it say understanding means using. The Forsaken heal through the forgotten shadow. You are basically saying one bar of the information contradicts the other. That doesn't make sense. You can't have the forsaken using the light to heal, then in the same article it saying they can't use it at all.

−
−
As I say you have to show where in that quest text is says using. As example. I could understand Islam, doesn't mean I believe in it or practice (use) it.

−
−
I left the last source as fair is fair but I did qualify that it is not considered canonical.

−
−
Mainly I just don't want people saying "look here is proof the forsaken can use the light" and it's official (when it is not) and also when there is a cited official source saying no they cannot.

"This image is from the continent, not of the world." Which was known to be Azeroth at that time. But it's been moved to the Eastern Kingdoms‎ maps instead. [[User:TherasTaneel|TherasTaneel]] ([[User talk:TherasTaneel|talk]]) 18:12, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

:The reason that I removed that image is because, if we start adding images like that, then it would become like before I separate the articles and people would then merge them again when they are supposed to be different things. Besides, we don't really know what does that image intended to be, as Azeroth was only used for the kingdom and not for the world nor the Eastern Kingdoms in ''Warcraft: Orcs & Humans''. I suggest to move it to the article about the kingdom of Azeroth as Orcs & Humans actually refered to the kingdom and not to the other terms. One question...are you just guessing that all of those users were referring to the planet when they linked to Azeroth? Don't see any reason to change it for them unless you know for sure. Thanks. --{{User:Pcj/sig}} 20:37, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

:I know it's not really my place to barge in on a conflict that I have nothing to do with. However, I've somewhat reviewed these changes and they seem, to me, proper-- proper of course referring to the fact that specific usage of Azeroth meant the planet and he rightfully corrected it. However, I am not the authors of these pages so I wouldn't know 100%; I am just going by assumptions and common sense. Thats my 2 cents.
