Hmm, kind of makes it look nice, yes :-) Anyway; have you tried using PAGENAME? Just copy pasting that into the image things (including |thumb|, of course), makes progress very fast. And a second thing: need help? It's a huge job. --Tinkerer 14:33, 23 November 2006 (EST)
- I would love some help, after all there are some, what, 10,000+ articles with just NPCs (if that is correct)? PAGENAME could be alot better too, thanks. Maybe you could start on Trolls and work your way up, or something? Feel free to edit my current page and add complete/in progress or whatnot. We could be called the Thumnailers! Haha :D... ~Bull3t (talk · contr · curr · wro · blog) // 02:53, 24 November 2006 (EST)
- I don't know what this project entails, but have you considered making a bot for it?--Hobinheim 03:35, 24 November 2006 (EST)
- A bot would could be useful, although some images need different things than others. And to Bull3t: maybe put, instead of a |thumb, a |frame in? For the humans you edited it doesn't matter, but for for example Atal'arion, where it would decrease the size of the image badly, it does. --Tinkerer 08:12, 24 November 2006 (EST)
- What different things do you mean? Could you give an example? A bot can handle different things.--Hobinheim 10:12, 24 November 2006 (EST)
- Guess the hinting is too subtle. I can write bots! What is it that you would need our theoretical bot to do?--Hobinheim 12:23, 24 November 2006 (EST)
- Hmm... Still not on the same wavelength. What exactly are the changes you are making to each page? Once I know this, I can make a bot to do exactly the same en masse.
- Okay, well basically I am adding frames (or thumbs) to all the images that are not in frames by adding "|frame|PAGENAME" to each and every image tag, in place of "|left". Also, how do you make bots, and how do you code them? ~Bull3t (talk · contr · curr · wro · blog) // 14:42, 24 November 2006 (EST)
- Yes, I completed Trolls. There aren't that much of them :p A bot doing what Bull3t said would be nice, but needs to be restricted to a few categories, as you don't want Burning Crusade framerized, for example :P --Tinkerer 15:23, 24 November 2006 (EST)
- Well.. I created an application that I acts just like a bot, and finished them all off. If you check the Recent Changes page, there is like 1500 edits that I made, spam! Accumulated 2500 contributions though, hehe! ~Bull3t (talk · contr · curr · wro · blog) // 10:34, 25 November 2006 (EST)
- Nice and fast job :-) I logged in to go on with tauren, but.. hehe ;p--Tinkerer 11:08, 25 November 2006 (EST)
Cleanup Tag Change
Edit
The reason would need to be a little clearer (font, colour) to have a use. Grey and small doesn't really catch one's attention :) --Tinkerer 14:16, 21 November 2006 (EST)
- Okay that would be betetr, a bold, normal sized font, coloured with orange maybe? Not sure. What colour do you think should be used, if any? ~Bull3t (talk · contr · curr · wro · blog) // 15:05, 21 November 2006 (EST)
- How about just adding a conditional second heading/section?
