Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 17 Jun 2011 1:41 PM Pacific

Apples

I think that's just one instance of where I should slowly back out of youtube Winky.

Apples thought for some reason your links were keyloggers. I don't recall that there was a reason given, and I let him know that I highly doubted you would resort to vandalizing your own page. Raylan13@Wikia (talk) 01:32, January 8, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for XML stuff

Do you think we should have a Category:XML properties or is just Category:XML elements okay? --Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 26 Jul 2012 10:18 PM Pacific

WoWWiki vs. Wowpedia

Basically the same as was posted at User_talk:Seven44#WoWWiki_vs._Wowpedia.

The story is too long to relate on a talk page, but the summary is that Wikia decided to change the wiki's skin from Monaco to Oasis which was a big pain in the @ss for most of the admins and they thought it diminished WoWWiki too much. It just happened to be that Curse gaming wanted to host a wiki on WoW, so they worked with some old WoWWiki admins to host a copy of WoWWiki that was more like the old skin and gave the admins more control over the wiki. Wikia really screwed up. I even left for awhile (6 months? I forget), but I wasn't a huge fan of the main admins who were controlling Wowpedia. Wikia started to realized how much they screwed up and started making changes to improve WoWWiki, so I decided to come back.

Wikia still has issues, but I'm sticking with WoWWiki for now. You can see some of the reasons I'm staying here and here.

The only updates I would give to the above is that Wikia still has alot of improvements to make regarding WoWWiki, but the biggest is acknowledging how much they damaged the WoWWiki community and that it has a long way to go before it comes close to being what it was. --Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 1 Aug 2012 8:07 PM Pacific

Improvements

Nice work! Seems to load faster for me, which is a big improvement over the other portals. Raylan13@Wikia (talk) 15:58, August 11, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks :) Cant decide if I'm putting lipstick on the pig, or giving it a bath. ;) Polls are now in Template:Polls-lite and seperate from Template:FA. --Celess (talk) 22:04, August 11, 2012 (UTC)

Patch 5.0.4/API changes

Can you do a version of Patch 5.0.4/API changes like Wowpedia's Patch 5.0.4/API changes page? --Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 16 Aug 2012 12:34 PM Pacific

Invitation

I know Fandyllic brought the Experts badge up before, but we've made some changes to the award which can be found in our recent forum post. You've done some great work here and continue to keep things updated, so we'd like to award you the API Experts badge. Additionally we'd like to consider you for moderator, if you're interested. Information on that can be found in the same forum post. Either way, let me know, and thanks for your continued updates! Raylan13@Wikia (talk) 01:38, October 23, 2012 (UTC)
