NPC lists Edit

Loving the information you are providing with your lists! If you could, take a look at the "Inhabitants" section of Astranaar for formatting (for NPCs) and an article like Howling Vale (for mobs). Templates, etc. Edit

The list is very comprehensive on the Templates page, but I'd guess people who are generally editing - as opposed to admins, for instance - are going to only use a specific set of them (and, yes, there are sometimes multiple ways of doing the same thing). At some point in the near future I should go through and see what templates I use most often and compile a separate page - do you think something like the Help:Location articles page would be both easy enough to follow and comprehensive? I could model it after that, and also do the same to each boilerplate page. Of course, I'm not the 'end all, be all' here, so I'd throw this around with the community. I think that'd be a great structure to use for the boilerplates - each element is described, with a reference page for final appearance; it should make assembling new pages in correct style and format much easier. Tag?! Likely this will be a summer project for me when I've got the hours to burn. I'll float the idea in the forums just in case anyone else has any input. As always, if you've any questions/suggestions in the meantime, I'm all ears. As far as the here-and-now, if you'd like a short list of articles you can grab markup from, I can always provide that. Sometimes it's easier to do that, and then refer to the template/boilerplate pages in case something's missing. Raylan13

Not a problem at all. Hopefully I can think of most of them off the top of my head (I'm away from home atm): Locations (Town - Astranaar)(Place - Howling Vale)(Zone-Ashenvale); NPC (Sentinel Luara); Items (Thaelrid's Greaves (armor), Dissector (weapon), Shadumbra's Head (quest start item), Laughing Sister's Corpse (quest item)); Quests (The Ancient Statuettes); for dungeon-related pages, see Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep (for things like how to list abilities, drops, etc.). I know there's more, but that should be a pretty solid start. The thing to remember most, if you're copying entire pages, is to change the links! Drop me a line if there's anything you can't puzzle your way through. Raylan13

There are some minor formatting changes you should use when making future quest pages. The Rewards section should come after Progress and Completion sections (not all the reward info is known before you complete the quest). Also you can put the amount of money rewarded at level 85 until we know more about how the money reward scales.

Quest IDs, etc. Edit

I know Fandyllic will likely respond to you as well, but maybe not until later, so I'll respond for some of this. If you go to http://www.wowhead.com and punch in the quest name, you'll see a number in the address bar. So for Remembering the Ancestors you'll see http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29314, and the "29314" would be the quest id you enter. You'll also find the level 85 gold amount on that page. You don't have to put the quest id, but please put {{Stub/Quest}} at the top, if you don't know the quest id or don't fill in some obvious info for the quest. --

WoWWiki drama and history around the introduction of Oasis skin Edit

I'll give you a few forum links to give you an idea of what was going on at WoWWiki when Wikia tried to introduce the new Oasis skin (which is what the current WoWWiki skin is based on, but not exactly the same). I'd like to preface these links with the fact that I was taking a break from WoWWiki around the time all this happened (due to a disagreement with several of the other admins, led by Pcj). I basically returned to try to keep WoWWiki alive.
