Warcraft II images

Awesome images, man. They are way better than the previous ones. Anyway, do you plan on making more for the normal units and buildings? (icon + model) Yours picture the unit in angle, and the current images post them head-on, showing less of the unit. Whatever, great work ;).--Lon-ami (talk) 14:21, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yes very nice job, however if you could do me the favor of marking the images you're removing/replacing with a {{speedydelete}} so we can help keep the wiki clean of obsolete images. Thank you and keep up the good work, SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 22:22, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

If you replace one image with another of the same name, you've done what one can/should. If you replace one image with another of a different name, you can mark the old image like you can any other page. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 17:56, January 7, 2010 (UTC)

Icon, Model and Icon+Model

I think you should make those 3 things in separate. If you make Icon+Model only, then, when we want to use the model or the icon alone we don't have any images available. Icon+Model is awesome, but don't remove icon and model ;). Thanks for the work!--Lon-ami (talk) 13:29, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

I think you should aim for this:
  • Normal units: icon and model
  • hero units: icon and icon+model
Don't bother making icon+model for the normal units ;).--Lon-ami (talk) 15:46, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

New order and missing icons

I've make a new order for the icon list. Hope it's clearer than before, and makes your work easier. Also, I included the missing icons on the talk page. Some of them already have images around, but their quality don't match yours. Also, it would be nice if you made separate icons for beta/demo models, so we can have them, too. That's all, keep the good work, man. You're really doing a great one.--Lon-ami (talk) 14:39, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Unknown source W2 images

I'm speaking of these ones:

Where did you get them from, Warcraft 2 Beta? If you just rendered the WarCraft 1 icons then the category is wrong, hence my doubts.--Lon-ami (talk) 16:30, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • I got those from a beta version of WarCraft 2. In that build, the Human Paladin/Mage and the Orc Ogre-Mage/Death Knight weren't implemented yet. In their place was WarCraft 1 Units: the Cleric (Paladin), the Wizard (Mage), the Necrolyte (Ogre-Mage), and the Warlock (Death Knight). Those spell icons belonged to those units. Image reupload

If you have uploaded an image with a wrong name, don't worry, you don't need to reupload it. Just edit the page with {{Move|"new name"|"reason"}}. Good luck :P.--Lon-ami (talk) 13:33, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Mogor

Hi JeremiahJohnson. Can you tell me in what mission appeared Mogor in BtDP? I don't remember seeing him in the game at all, not even in the map editor. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 01:02, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • What's up Benitoperezgaldos? Yeah, actually the game doesn't have him as a unique unit. In the very first level of the BTDP Orc campaign, the mission briefing states that Mogor is a renegade Ogre Mage that is holding Grom Hellscream captive and is in control of the Laughing Skull Clan. You must kill him and the Death Knights he has captured. The briefing states him as an Ogre Mage, but ingame he is just a no name plain Ogre. I added him in the Warcraft II units section as what he is supposed to be according to the lore. JeremiahJohnson (talk) 01:24, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I see. You are doing a really good work :). Keep it up! Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 02:23, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, I appreciate that. Everyone here has done a lot of work and I just wanted to help out in any way I can JeremiahJohnson (talk) 09:35, January 10, 2010 (UTC).

Image size

Hi I saw you reduced the size of some files I had uploaded, what program do you use and how do you do it?--User:ShandrisForever 13:28, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • I just used Photoshop 5.5 and saved them at a slightly lower quality to reduce the filesize. In some cases, I reduced the resolution to the WoW-Wiki guidelines. I tried to be very selective in the quality loss to still provide for a clean and clear image. JeremiahJohnson 09:06, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
