Pretty good. I was the one who made the original rare pets. If you need help on defining a rare pet i could help. I defined those pets by the way that they were tamed. If it could be done in 5 minutes then it wouldnt be rare. If it died quickly because of a quest for their skin then that would be rare. My issue with those definitions is, they are very subjective. Maybe the creature is "hard to tame" for some but not others. The quest spawn point is very true, any creature that is spawned from a quest is rare, and if it has a special skin I have definitely included it. My problem is with things like the snakes - almost all snakes can only be found in instances, and most of them only have one mob per skin. Does that make every snake skin rare? I am very torn on that point, I am going to try to get more people to discuss it on the actual Rare pet talk page. Well for the snakes in instances, if you can tame it right then and there then it is not rare. If that snake is surrounded by 10 other snakes, 10 illidan stormrages, and everyone else on your team is dead, then that is rare. That example is a little bit too far, but you get the idea right? Also you should give a precise location and how to tame it and how to make sure that it will be there. You know stuff like that. I suppose others will have to come in and add to it then, as I don't have a high level hunter to find all that stuff out. Basically I was compiling the data from your page (which was good, by the way, the style was the only thing I really had an issue with, and the fact that there were some other pets not listed there that I knew of) and from sites like Petopia. People can add more precise locations (mine are just as well as I knew them, based on the maps from thottbot, and I couldn't do anything for those inside instances), and any special tricks for that specific pet that I didn't already include. --Jiyambi t || c

I can not list all the rare pets on a page that took me 3 days to make. It is very hard to list all of the rare pets in 3 days. I just listed the ones that i thought were rare and hoped that other people would add to it instead of whining and what not. Aka Paradox 02:42, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
