"melee" ranged weapons

You would likely agree that some ranged weapons would be classified as "tanking weapons" due to the avoidance stats on them, like the Armor Plated Combat Shotgun. At least a few specific ranged weapons seem dedicated to use by Hunters (IE ranged weapon DPS). Zod's crossbow from the page you edited recently would qualify. For the rest (the vast majority), they work equally well as attribute boosters for melee (Warriors and Rogues) as they do as a primary weapon (Hunters). I don't pretend to distinguish between them without something blatant like Zod's was. So perhaps instead of "ranged / ranged", "dps / ranged" would be appropriate. (Maybe "ranged dps / ranged" for things like Zod's.)

As you have evidenced both an eye for spotting this sort of thing, and interest in correcting it, could you review other boss pages as well for similar cases? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:19, March 29, 2010 (UTC)
