What this is Edit

In order to better incorporate the ad unit (and indeed get better ads) - I am redesigning the main page(s). What I am going for:

• 300px right column, non-negotiable. For stuff that'll show on each portal (i.e. FA, FM, WoWWiki news, more in future like polls)
• Left column header - also shows on each portal.
• Tabbed area - different on each portal.

Trying to get the design and clean and clear as possible - working with 1024 as a minimum res, though difficult. Colouring unsure. Dark grey seems to work overall, but doesn't differentiate sections well.

Gah @ ad (Sigh...). please, do get better ads (current ad showing up looks like it's selling sex) :(

Left column's too big on 1024: I'm getting a scrollbar (perhaps size it to auto rather than straight values). I fear part of the problem is the headers; Interface customization could be shrunk to UI customization, World of Warcraft to WoW, Warcraft universe to Warcraft... any of the above would work for me. Actually, that was intentional, to prevent text getting squished up too much. It can be reduced. Tabs are possible. Kirkburn  talk  contr 21:20, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Reduced the size of the left column, overall min-width of 800px now. Will still scroll on 1024, but less so. Attempted to get the text squishing less in several areas.
