Unique class names and races
This is a summery of several races and their lore I have been working with for some time, feel free to comment if you'd like. You do not need to bother yourself about the notes. They are only there to simplify my work.
- These classes has been left out from the report because of obvious reasons.
- Death Knight
Hunter
Mage
Rogue
Warlock
Warrior
- Death Knight
Druid
Race | Faith | Optional Class Name |
---|---|---|
Worgen | Elune | Druid |
Night elf | Elune | Druid |
Troll | Loa | Primalist |
Tauren | Mu'sha (the moon) | Druid |
-Note- Lukou is the Loa of healing and respite. She grants the shadow hunter the ability to heal his allies. With a word, the shadow hunter can invoke a scintillating rain of positive energy, which drops from the sky to heal all living allies it touches.
Nalorakk, the Bear. Shirvallah, the Tiger. etc.
Paladin
Race | Faith | Optional Class Name |
---|---|---|
Draenei | The Holy Light | Vindicator |
Human | The Holy Light | Paladin |
Ironforge dwarf | The Holy Light | Paladin |
Blood elf | Magic sources | Blood Knight |
Tauren | An'she (the sun) | Sunwalker |
-Note- Many draenei paladins become vindicators, some become exarchs. The name of their order is the Hand of Argus. Draenei "Vindicators" are more warriors than the traditional type of paladin, they have far more emphasis upon combat than they do with the teachings of the Holy Light.
Priest
Race | Faith | Optional Class Name |
---|---|---|
Draenei | The Holy Light | Anchorite |
Ironforge dwarf | The Holy Light | Priest |
Gnome | The Holy Light | Priest |
Human | The Holy Light | Priest |
Goblin | ? | Priest |
Worgen | Elune | Priest |
Night elf | Elune | ? |
Forsaken | Cult of Forgotten Shadow | Priest |
Blood elf | ? | Priest |
Tauren | An'she (the sun) | Sunwalker |
Troll | Loa | Hex Doctor/Shadow Hunter? |
-Note- Goblin Priests doesn't make sense since the Holy Light doesnt really favor rascals. However... Take in mind that not all Humans are bad, thiefs murderers or nasty. Who say that just because the Goblins you've meet so far are a bit evil and very cashing oriented doesnt mean they all go under the same banner.
-Note- Taurens Shadow tree, LoreBehind?
-Note- In World of Warcraft, witch doctors are semi-playable as troll priests (with shadowy magic, ritualistic chants and spiritual guidence) or shamans (with wards being replaced by totems). A common title among troll mobs and NPCs, they range from the very powerful, Hakkari Witch Doctor, to the relatively weak, Bom'bay <Witch Doctor in Training>. See Thottbot list of witch doctors. There are also human witch doctors that are under the command of Colonel Kurzen in Stranglethorn Vale.
Shaman
Race | Faith | Optional Class Name |
---|---|---|
Draenei | Elementals | ? |
Wildhammer dwarf | Elementals | ? |
Goblin | Elementals | Shaman |
Orc | Elementals | Shaman |
Tauren | Elementals | Shaman |
Troll | Loa | Hex Doctor/Shadow Hunter? |
-Note- Wildhammer dwarves have close ties to nature. Many are shamans, and some are druids. A few Wildhammers revere the Holy Light, but the faith demands too much organization and philosophy for the comfort of most. Some Wildhammer dwarves in Kalimdor have also been studying with the night elves to learn more about Elune, the moon goddess.
-Note- Goblins place their faith in themselves and in gold. They raise eyebrows at insubstantial concepts such as shamanism and the Holy Light, preferring gods they can see, weigh, and spend.
-PersonalQuote- "preferring gods they can see, weigh, and spend." If you suddently discover that the world is filled with elementals that weild power eternal. If you worshipp them, they will do your bidding. And grant you allowence to use their powers. From a Goblins point of veiw this cearinly could be used to make some cashing, dont you think?
-Note- Shango controls the realm of storms and he guards the secrets of lightning and mayhem. By channeling this powerful and often unpredictable Loa's fury, the shadow hunter throws the lightning bolt "stormspear".
Lukou is the Loa of healing and respite. She grants the shadow hunter the ability to heal his allies. With a word, the shadow hunter can invoke a scintillating rain of positive energy, which drops from the sky to heal all living allies it touches.
-Note- In World of Warcraft, witch doctors are semi-playable as troll priests (with shadowy magic, ritualistic chants and spiritual guidence) or shamans (with wards being replaced by totems).
