Parts of what you've written are word-for-word directly from the manual- any quotes should be properly cited and put in quotation marks. As an aside, what did you find speculative about the old revision (this is for my personal clarification, nothing more)?-- (talk · contr) 23:40, 25 January 2007 (EST)
Well it wasn't exactly word for word. The only word for word was "gave him much needed nourishment". I edited the article using what I knew was in the manual and didn't use the manual directly, in other words I didn't have it with me when I was editing it. Also for the speculation someone wrote the Lich King combined his power with that of the dreadlords to contact Kel'Thuzad. That is just false. The manual said (as I remember it, this is isn't quote for quote) that he reached out with his vast psychic powers to contact any dark soul that would listen. Dreadlords had nothing to do with it. The other things I added were things that some people removed, even though they were in the manual. Like when the ice that held him came to resemble a throne when it crashed in Northrend. Also the part where his powers began to grow as he gained more undead. Also someone removed the part that he could telepathically enslave the indigenous lifeforms of Northrend and seemed to imply that he gained power after they became undead. This is false. First he mentally dominated much of the lifeforms except for the Nerubians. Then he tunred them into undead. Then the war of the spider happened. BTW The manual is way more detailed than this. I think I also added that the lich king was created due to the petty infighting that caused the horde to fail. Noman953 11:56, 26 January 2007
- Actually I think the manual said that Kil'jaeden had his servants gather diamond hard ice from the farthest reaches of the twisting nether. ice or crystal, doesn't really matter, its too insignificant for me to give a dam. I'm glad we cleared this up. Noman953 17:34, 26 January 2007
