Lad ? Oh my ...
Sorry, where on Earth could I find info helping me to guess you were a dude ? Shandris' pretty a girly name ...--Kirochi (talk) 16:42, 20 September 2006 (EDT)
- Yope, but Shandris is a hero in Warcraft III and I liked her name =). At least now you know, hehe Shandris 17:11, 20 September 2006 (EDT)
Where does Temple of Telhamat come from?
I rolled back most of your changes renaming Temple of Sha'naar to Temple of Telhamat. I don't know where you get this name, but it clearly isn't on the Interactive Outland map. Please try to explain changes that directly contradict official info. Otherwise, you will be considered a vandal and banned. --Fandyllic (talk) 3:56 PM PDT 22 Sep 2006
- Fandyllic, when going to exactly that place, you come to the Temple of Telhamat. In the latest patch, some areas where renamed, something the site hasn't updated. Such is the case with the Temple, as well with Aeris (Landing). You can ask other people if you don't trust the desicion, and I would never - NEVER - vandalize anything on WoWWiki. --Shandris 14:56, 23 September 2006 (EDT)
Night Elf edits
I'd like to ask how that Night Elf lady (whose picture you removed) isn't Tyrande. Also, while Tyrande does not love Illidan, he is certainly in love with her. That's actually the key to understanding more than half of Illidan's actions. I apoligize if I seem a bit short, but I am the Bookkeeper in charge of Night Elves. In general, I must say that your work on the wiki has been exemplary. --Ragestorm 15:08, 25 September 2006 (EDT)
- What I basically thought about that concept art was that it depicted any female Night Elf, not specifically Tyrande, just as there's a similar concept art, but of an orc, and nothing says it's Thrall himself. I'd require a source about that being Tyrande. OK, 'bout their relationship... I never really understood they could have something together, why would he love her? Just cause she released him? And by the way, what does "exemplary" mean? --Shandris 15:29, 25 September 2006 (EDT)
- It was box art, not concept art. It's part of a set that showed specific characters from the four campaigns, the others being Thrall, Kel'Thuzad, and Arthas. It was confirmed as being Arthas by the death knight on the cover of the Frozen Throne, so it's more than safe to assume (as we have for months) that these are the characters.
- Illidan fell in love with Tyrande ten thousand years ago, after he saw her dancing at a festival. He tried repeatedly to win her, boasting of his connections, showing off his magickal skill. Even as the infernals rained from the sky, she tried. But no one realized that her heart already belonged to Malfurion- his inner strength and true altruism had stolen her love without her realizing. Thus, when faced with this, Illidan surrendered himself to the Legion. It was his love for Tyrande that nearly ruined the world, and nearly saved it. But in the end, his lust for magic was stronger than his heart.
- Illidan appears to have finally come to grips with his feelings, but we don't know whether or not he has given up on Tyrande. All anyone else can say is that after ten thousand years, it's probably safe to say that she's not leaving Furion.

Shadowmoon Valley
Very nice picture of the map, but you can't reach that area in the current beta, so I'm afraid it's illegal :( --Tinkerer 10:00, 23 October 2006 (EDT)
- Huh? I never added the map, it was there many days ago, check history --Shandris 10:07, 23 October 2006 (EDT)
- Err.. Huh? It shows that you uploaded it in the Recent changes list O_o --Tinkerer 10:12, 23 October 2006 (EDT)
- I found an up-to-date map, look at the map that was before that =) Shandris 10:39, 23 October 2006 (EDT)
- Ah, erm, right. Doesn't take away they're all illegal, but seeing as Shadowmoon Valley will be opened soon-ish anyway, we got to be flexible, I'd say. --Tinkerer 10:42, 23 October 2006 (EDT)
- Tinkerer, I personally wouldn't worry about it. Since it's only a map (and since we have already have articles on the places shown on the map), I don't think there will be a problem with it. Actual unreleased screenshots of the area I'd still say no to though.
- (Edit: I wrote that before your reply! =) -- Kirkburn (talk) 10:44, 23 October 2006 (EDT)
Naaru reversion
I reverted it, because squeezing the text with images breaks the page for those with smaller resolution screens. :) -- Kirkburn (talk) 11:56, 25 October 2006 (EDT)
- Not my fault that i use a 19 LCD flat screen... =) --Shandris 11:57, 25 October 2006 (EDT)
- And I use a widescreen 17" ... I just try the page at several sizes when editing. Don't design a page for your screen, design it for everyone's! -- Kirkburn (talk) 11:59, 25 October 2006 (EDT)
"Mok'Nathal, nothing else"
The map does actually say "Mok'Bathal" village ... Many names are alike but don't belong to the same category in WoW.--K ) (talk) 10:38, 10 November 2006 (EST)
Eco-Domes
Ooh, I love chattering about horrible capitals. Anyway, when I saw your edit, I thought I was wrong but I looked it up in the Beta: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/Fotootjes/WoWScrnShot_111306_162221.jpg , screenie by me, and it's with an capital letter :-) --Tinkerer 10:24, 13 November 2006 (EST)
- Well, Gift of the Naaru is spelled with capital Naaru, mate. Also, I see it from an aspect as a encyclopedia entry. "Dome" here should be small, because it's a continuation from "eco". For example, gyro-bridge is also with small letter, but Blizz thinks it's ugly in-game, so they make everything capital! True! --Shandris 10:29, 13 November 2006 (EST)
- Gift of the Naaru and Eco-Dome is the same case, seeing as they just make each noun and adjective a capitalized word. We do this, at WoWWiki, at everything as they do it in-game; quests (Jail Break!), NPCs (Razorgore the untamed? Don't think so), and other locations. Eco-Dome is, that way, spelled with a capital D as Blizzard follows these rules. And WoWWiki will follow that, I think. --Tinkerer 10:42, 13 November 2006 (EST)
Images
It's not the newest image, its the BC concept art. The policy for WoWbox images: use an in-game shot; if none, use cinematic shot; if none, use best artistic representation; if none, use Pre-WoW shot. Not only to we have a cinematic shot avaliable, but that is not the best artistic representation. --Ragestorm 17:55, 19 November 2006 (EST)
- Much better, that's perfect, actually.--Ragestorm 20:51, 19 November 2006 (EST)
Cease!
In addition to being under suspicion of datamining (I'll leave that to someone else) the new images are eyesores, and the removal of the old ones are not appreciated. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 13:15, 17 February 2007 (EST)

- And use Template:Tooltip as well. I reverted your changes at [Staff of Infinite Mysteries], because you replaced the new tooltip with an old one, which is definitely wrong. -- Vysogota T / C
About [Kingsfall]: please check various sources before you put some doubtful information. Allakhazam says that the drop rate is 4%, WoWHead says it's 12% and Thottbot says it's 22%, which means you can't be sure about it (personally I'd say that WoWHead is correct, but since I'm not sure either, I won't put this info on WoWWiki). -- Vysogota T / C
Flight Points
Please stop adding in flight points, especially when you've not even highlighted that these points won't be available until the implementation of 2.1.0 - would suggest making sure this is clear on the pages you've added FPs to, otherwise I'll go through them all and remove them. User:Kiltek/Sig 10:07, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

- Yeah what Kirk said =P Add them in now by all means, just make sure you make it clear this won't be implemented until 2.1.0 - and then when it's released remove the warning! Sorry, didn't mean to sounds that aggressive ^^ User:Kiltek/Sig 16:25, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

Zul'Aman pictures
Please do not upload pictures of unreleased content, such as Zul'Aman (unless they happen to come from Blizzard (by which they are then not unreleased content)). —Pzychotix (talk · contr) 08:58, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- We haven't heard anything from BLizz in 6 months, someone had to release eye candy to the public! -- Shandris talk / contribs 09:45, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
By the way, for your recent edits about the bosses, could you source them (i.e. put an external link for where you got the info at the bottom of the page or next to the information)? I know Blizzard has released some information about Zul'Aman about E3, but none of them concern the bosses at the moment. Speculation is helpful but should be tagged with such until Blizzard confirms these bosses. —Pzychotix (talk · contr) 00:53, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
{{clr}} and {{clrl}}/{{clrr}}
If you're trying to have text show up below images, use one of the {{clr}} templates instead of spamming <br>s. clr clears both sides, clrl clears left and clrr clears right. Check [Foror's Crate of Endless Resist Gear Storage] as an example.
Wrath logo
- I took this image cut out each of the letters so i could get the intials, W o t L K, i then used the background in the big one as a basis to create a chopped-up background that'd look better smaller. All done in Macromedia Fireworks MX which i find rather useful for doing graphics. If you like you can see the fireworks save file i used here, which has the various stages of me putting it together. Frost giants
Frost giants exist already. Is that prototype art that you uploaded from Wrath? If so it looks like we may have two species of frost giants.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Baggins (talk · contr).

Northrend zones map
Regarding Image:NorthrendWrath.jpg, I'm not sure the center zone is Crystalsong, I think it's actually Azjol-Nerub. User:Kirkburn/Sig3 16:52, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- I just followed the Lands of Mystery map, this map of Blizzard is quite different at many points from that one, but I believe they don't put an underground zone with other, "above-ground" zones. -- Shandris talk / contribs 17:32, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Beast With a Thousand Maws
1)Awesome title! :D
2)Ya he's hideous, seems like a scourge thing to me though. Guess it will be made clearer when we face the Nose of Yogg-Saron in level 80.
Blizzard list
Two problems with it.
1. Its not verifiable. It could be real, or it could be a hoax. We do not have an official affidavit by Blizzard discussing its veracity.
2. If it was real, it would be official leaked in-house Blizzard documents, not meant for the public to read. In which case it would break our NDA policies.Baggins (talk) 19:12, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Emblems.png
First of all, great job on the thing. If I could just update it myself, I would, but since you made it, I'm making a plea that you would do it.
1. The image currently neglects to mention that Trial of the Crusader bosses drop 3 Emblems of Triumph each (this is true as of 3.2 and will continue to be true in 3.3).
2. According to Zarhym,[4] Naxx, Sarth, Malygos, Ulduar, ToC, and Heroics will all be dropping Emblems of Triumph in 3.3. The only two bosses that currently drop Emblems of Conquest that he didn't mention are Archavon and Emalon, but it seems pretty clear that the intention is for Emblems of Conquest to be deprecated (along with Valor and Heroism) in 3.3. I think it's safe to assume Archavon and Emalon will also be upgraded to Triumph.
3. The weekly raid quests have been changed to award 5 Emblems of Frost and 5 Emblems of Triumph. [5]
4. The image currently does not communicate the fact that the "Random dungeon system" rewards only apply to the first heroic/normal of the day, nor does it communicate that additional random heroics (after the first one) award 2 additional Emblems of Triumph. The same Zarhym post I linked previously states something to this effect.
Again, great job on it so far. I don't mean to criticize you, I just want to keep the image up-to-date and accurate. Additionally, you might want the image to note that the information comes from the PTR and as such is subject to change. Burzolog (talk) 23:47, November 17, 2009 (UTC)

Hi ShandrisForever! Great job updating my emblems guide. Personally, I like listing them vertically, top-down, since I feel that better conveys the way you downgrade by exchanging badges.
