Hi, my name is Spenpiano. I'm a big fan of the World of Warcraft. I hope to edit a lot of things in this wiki. I know a lot of editors have worte fan-fiction, and I would like add my very own fan-made ideas for the World of Warcraft.
Gwen Armstead, etc.
According to the lore, I don't believe that all those living in Gilneas were afflicted with the worgen curse. There are some that obviously were, like Celestine of the Harvest or Genn Greymane. But to my knowledge, not all the citizens are worgen, so I went ahead and reverted those changes. Liam is kind of a grey area, as I think it's presumed by many that he was a worgen, but I haven't seen any supporting evidence. Raylan13 (talk) 03:14, August 15, 2011 (UTC)
Nice ideas in there. The Defias returning as helping the Alliance and Horde is an interesting idea - I would have expected them to perhaps side with the Legion - but it's a good twist. And I like the range of new zones, rather than a clump of low level and then a clump of high level. Raylan13 (talk) 17:28, July 18, 2012 (UTC)
- You can find a good deal of info about the site at the about page. If you want to talk to someone who's been here for quite a while (compared to my measly almost three years), then there's Fandyllic. Raylan13 (talk) 17:44, July 18, 2012 (UTC)
Those are two good foci. We know that Kil'jaeden will return at some point, or at least it's very heavily implied. And Argus? Well, who knows what's really happened since the Legion, and opening that up to players and some rich lore is great. Raylan13 (talk) 17:53, July 18, 2012 (UTC)
Populations and proper nouns
Before you get going too much, just wanted to pop in and point out a few things. The first is about population in the infoboxes. These are from official sources, so they shouldn't be changed unless another official source is cited. Second is about race names. By and large they shouldn't be capitalized unless they are at the beginning of a sentence: ie "Trolls are (whatever)" is fine, but "The Orcs of Durotar..." isn't. Any questions, just ask! - While it's true that the populations of some areas have likely changed, there's no official, written source (yet) that documents those exact changes. From the template page the population statistics should "not be used for speculation" and should "source books from the RPG and other published sources (individual citations required)". (Thumbs up) My personal opinion is that there's a much greater chance of seeing ogres and furbolgs before high elves and forest trolls. Race models are being updated at some point on the horizon, so we might see some versions of elves and trolls in those option menus. Raylan13 (talk) 03:08, July 31, 2012 (UTC)
Wandering Isle NPCs
All the NPCs on the Wandering Isle should remain tagged as neutral, unless there's a reference (like a wowhead listing) that shows them as having joined the Alliance or Horde. Raylan13 (talk) 01:12, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
Please do not edit articles with information directly lifted from another source. Though it certainly isn't my preference, if you absolutely must do so, please use the wowpedia attribution template. Keep in mind anything marked with the template I'll be going through and completely rewriting. Raylan13 (talk) 14:41, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
- Keep the note I mentioned about the Wandering Isle NPCs in mind as well. Aside from the obvious (Aysa, Ji), I'm not finding any evidence that any of the other pandaren on the Isle either departed or chose a faction. Raylan13 (talk) 14:48, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
I've already gone through the Horde side of the Pandaren intro and took another stroll through Orgrimmar to make sure. I can't find him there or find any reference to him joining the Horde. Raylan13 (talk) 16:08, October 21, 2012 (UTC)
