Maiv's death is quoted from the official Shadows & Light sourcebook. Its not "noncanon" nor "fanfic". I have pointed out its source, as well as updated the topic to point out it contains Warcraft RPG content, through the Warcraft RPG category.

Random WC3 Heroes

I hope you are confirming that various named paladins, and other heroes in WC3 are static and not randomly generated. It just wouldn't be correct to say a certain character did something, if that character is replaced by someone else on another play through.Baggins 23:52, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Mission Names

The official mission names are preferred over fanfic battle names (I.E made up names). As players are more likely to search for a battle based on its mission name from the games. This has been discussed in Irc.Baggins 04:46, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Generally something that's part of history, but only has brief references are put into its related article. For example, the history section of the Stormwind Keep article. Other alternatives, include the fact that it was called the "initial battle[1]", or "first battle[2]" of the war, these titles would need some kind of citation in the article however to explain where the title originated. The best possibility, and the system usually used, would be something like Stormwind Keep (battles), which is about the topic, and includes a disambiguity note, discussing what the topic is about. In which case you put all related battles into the same article.
