Again, belated welcome!   --Kirkburn (talk) 02:54, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

No worries and thank you :) --Raze 03:00, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Good workEdit

Good work on the overall job of removing uncited information, nowever, before you take the time to remove something please use the {{fact}} template on something you find questionable, to give people time to add a citation, if it doesn't look like something is added in a few weeks, your free to remove it. If you find something that's cited but seems exaggerated out of the context of what was said in the original source continue to feel free to edit it so that its back in line with the original source. Thanks and let me know if you forced into war edits with anyone before you continue the war yourself. I'll step in if looks like a battle is happening.Baggins 04:16, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Thank you. A few weeks seem a little long to leave things that are very out of place, eg. [1]. In the Blood Elf page, I used the {{fact}} tag for about a few days before removing the sentences. That seems reasonable enough don't you think? --Raze 04:27, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
I think a few days to a week is fine. Your right a couple of weeks is excessive. I've noticed some exaggerations at the tauren article, I added quotes and citations, and added facts to other comments. Some of the sections marked with the fact template might be a bit exaggerated (qualifier comments, like "most", "some" etc, might need to be verified), so it may need to be toned down for NPOV/Blizzard's statements/truth as opposed to opinions, but otherwise there might be some truth to the sections I put the fact template on.Baggins 04:37, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Alrighty I'll try and do similar in the future, go ahead and let me know if I cause further problems. --Raze 05:01, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
No problem your complaints were valid, though perhaps your method was a bit off.
BTW, He had been warned previous times this week about the same kind of action... I warned him if he repeated he'd be banned, I even let him off a couple of times after that... But since he continued, I had to take actions.Baggins 05:36, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you, there wasn't much attempt to adhere to the warnings. Well justified imo. --Raze 08:41, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

The stuff you tossed fact on is implied in Alliance Player's Guide and Horde Player's Guide, and mentioned during the Kharazan key attunement quest. The latter is very hard to cite though, as I don't know the specific quest in the chain or if it was something just said by the characters without need of the quests. But if you have a level 70 character you can go talk to the Violet Eye folks at the bottom of the tower and check for yourself.Baggins 14:49, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Not a big issue, but "The tower has become such a dangerous and accursed place, that those that venture in never return." was stated as fact which is of course not really true as we discover in TBC. It stood out as an exaggeration. Depending on the source, I assume it can be reworded to say it as "rumored", "known to be", "seldom return" or something similar. I'll leave it alone if you're happy with it . --Raze 16:56, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

"The void is a space of pure shadow in which it consumes all spirits and souls around it and transforms them into voidwalkers as elemental off-products.[citation needed]"

Its mentioned in the quest lines in Netherstorm, IIRC, don't know the specific quests. Yes somone should have put the quest reference in, :p. Discussion on Talk:Naaru-Baggins 15:17, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Long Unsourced FactsEdit

Also if you remove an unsourced information can you put removed text it into the discussion page, under its own topic, to give others that might have missed the small {{fact}} notice have an additional oppertunity to discusse the information and its source, so that the info possibly be returned if found valid.

Actually might be good to toss up a question in discussion for any {{fact}} that you add to an article. So people are aware of the need for the citation.Baggins 15:26, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Will do. --Raze 16:58, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Lor'themar TheronEdit

Lor'themar Theron is spelled both Lor'themar Theron in quest items and quest lore in game, and Lor'Themar Theron on his npc title. Considering the larger number of lower case spelling ingame, the manga, the TBC website, I think its the official spelling. The strange use of the upper case T in the npc title appears to be a typographical issue. I don't suggest changing the name to reflect the typo on every single page, but rather going with the one used more often in the lore material.Baggins 04:20, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Mission TitlesEdit

Also to improve the article, the intro paragraph should probably include the chapter and mission numbers from the games, as well as title of the game its from. If you know what I mean? For example The Dark Lady should probably say, Chapter Three The Dark Lady, in the intro paragraph.Baggins 05:49, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Ok, added in title and chapter to the The Dark Lady, what do you think of that format?Baggins 05:54, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes it's pretty good, it's much clearer. -- Raze 06:49, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Tom Chilton Edit

I reverted your revert. That one's actually legitimate. It's alright to call people out, just not in the way the previous ones had. (I meant to put this in the edit summary, but clicked enter too early). Any issues with that? --Sky (t · c · w) 04:02, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

No probs, the paragraph needs a lot of rewording. Also, I didn't think it belonged there since most of the information there can't be verified. -- Raze 04:11, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes it definitely needs citations and editing for NPOV before it should be there. It really shouldn't take up the main part of the article, it should be a footnote bit of trivia to his biography. It currently lacks his biography.Baggins 04:12, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
(Note that we're hashing this out out on IRC atm) --Sky (t · c · w) 04:13, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Nerubian Vizier Edit

You do realize that not only does the page already exist (and linked in the WotLK beast section), but the screenshot is already uploaded as well. User:Coobra/Sig3 06:16, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Nah, I did a search for "vizier" and nothing came up. Will fix. -- Raze 06:22, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Don't worry I redirected it to your page, to follow policy. And I agree with the photo naming...Creature0 tells us nothing, so we'll keep your version. User:Coobra/Sig3 06:24, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Well could always have changed the image used and Vizier seems like it should be capitalized. Leviathon 06:35, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
The lower case "vizier" is offical Wowwiki policy if I'm not mistaken. -- Raze 06:38, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Correct, policy states mob types are not capped, while specific mob names are. That way, if a mob is named "Nerubian Vizier" it will have the capped verison page for itself, and the lower case page will talk about the race/type of creature that it is. Also, Raze's image was bigger, so you could see more detail, and already had the better name (Creature0 is not a good way to name uploads images)... and thats why I kept it.
