The Valiance Expedition are the main armies of the Alliance in Northrend who moving against the Scourge and are unified under King Varian Wrynn's command. They have allied with the Explorers' League and the Silver Covenant to establish the Alliance Vanguard against the Lich King.

Expedition Bases
The Valiance Expedition's primary base of operations is Valiance Keep in the Borean Tundra. Other bases include:
- Valgarde, Howling Fjord - primary Alliance port in eastern Northrend
- Westguard Keep, Howling Fjord - major base of operations in eastern Northrend
- Wintergarde Keep, Dragonblight - base of operations of the 7th Legion
- Fordragon Hold, Dragonblight - Alliance encampment at the base of Angrathar the Wrath Gate
The Valiance Expedition fights the Warsong Offensive in the Strand of the Ancients battleground.
