Valimar Mordis was once a human nobleman, but the Scourge murdered and revived him, transforming him into an undead creature like the Scourge. Mordis befriends Anveena under the guise of helping her find her friends, but he has dark plans for her. [1]

History

Template:Stub/Accuracy Valimar Mordis was a human lord who ruled over his land as a gentle and kind man. He once befriended a Tauren named Trag even though their two races were at war. His rule was a good & long one until the Scourge came and killed him and his people. The Scourge then resurrected him and used him as one of their more powerful warriors. He did many evil deeds while under the Scourge's service, until one day he killed an Archmage during a raid on an Alliance town, and regained his will. Valimar then returned to his old home, only to see it in ruins. Trag was still there, however and protected the land from intruders. The two were glad to see each other again and together they hunted the scourge. Now they hunt for a zombie called Ichor who they think wields the orb of Ner'Zhul, an artifact used to revive ancient beasts for the Lich King's service... However Mordis had his own plans for the orb to use it in order to spread the will of the forsaken.

Since the Baron regained his senses, it is possible he could've looked for kindred spirits, thus meaning he met Sylvannas Windrunner or other Forsaken.
