The Valley of Strength is the main area of Orgrimmar. It has an Auction House, Bank, and Inn. It is a bustling hive of activity for most of the day and night, with all manner of Horde players frequenting its shops and facilities. It is also the first area encountered after passing through the main gate.

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.

In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Garrosh - now acting Warchief of the Horde - built a new fortress (where the old bank used to be) within the Valley "to show who is in charge".^[1][2]

The inn is much bigger and now has a well-stocked bar; Gamon is still here, though has apparently become quite stronger and now will be attacked by fewer players. The Auction House has been redesigned and is now run by Goblins. Due to the construction of Grommash Hold the bank was moved closer to the entrance, also run by Goblins. On the northwest side of the Valley there is now a proper building containing a forge and anvil, and on the north side there is now a tunnel running to the Cleft of Shadow and Valley of Wisdom.^[3]

The Valley of Strength also contains one of Orgrimmar's two Warchief's Command Boards.
