Vampiric Touch

Vampiric Touch is an ability in the Shadow tree for priests. This ability has large raid viability as it acts like a mana battery. Putting a Shadow priest in a healing group or a group that uses mana to DPS in raids, such as a group with mages and warlocks, is very effective at easing the burden of mana on a raid, although arguably less so than before Wrath of the Lich King, when the mana restored was equal to 5% of shadow damage done while the spell was on the target rather than a percentage of the raid or party member's mana.
